Things I WON’T tell you in a tarot reading…

After more than 20 years of reading tarot and oracle cards, there are a few things I feel pretty strongly about.

I won’t tell you that your future is fixed.

I won’t make your decisions for you.

I won’t use scary-looking cards to frighten you.

And I won’t ask you to hand your power over to me — or to the cards.

Because for me, an intuitive tarot reading isn’t about predicting your future, or about someone else having all the answers to your life.

Tarot can illuminate what you can’t quite see from where you’re standing. It can uncover patterns, possibilities and perspectives. It can help you hear the quiet voice of your own intuition underneath all the noise.

Whether you come to the cards with one very specific question, navigating a situation or decision, or you’re standing at one of life’s great crossroads thinking what the actual fudge am I supposed to do now…. All of it is welcome.

My role isn’t to take your power away, but rather to help you find your way back to it.

The energy has been so heavy the last 24 hours. It feels like it’s beginning to lift now that the moment of the eclipse has passed. Do you feel you need some oracle guidance? Oh my goddess I’m exhausted.i shouldn’t be, I am sleeping well. Simply today in fact - I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Having spoken to others, I feel this is simply the energy of this eclipse.

Hang in there. Keep grounded, don’t make any big decisions for the next couple of days . Surrender and flow. (Oh and don’t charge your crystals )

Do you feel like you’ve been put through the cosmic washing machine this week? Or is it just me ?

We’re in that strange space between eclipses.

The solar eclipse showed us what we’re leaving behind.

And the lunar eclipse is asking where you are going now and who are you becoming next ?

And this bit in between is shaking everything up.

Old emotions. Old stories. Situations you thought you’d dealt with. Things that have been hidden. Things you suddenly see completely differently.

We’re in the messy middle.

Everything is shifting.And maybe it’s ok to not have all the answers just yet.

Maybe right now we simply need to notice:

What am I leaving behind?
What’s being shaken loose?
And what am I beginning to move towards?

This Thursday, I’m holding a Full Moon Eclipse Ceremony where we’ll explore exactly this together.

We’ll gather in sacred space to honour what is ending, release what we’re ready to leave behind, and turn towards the version of ourselves that is beginning to emerge.
