Homeopathy can support and see us positively through the changes in our lives, including new starts and seasons.

Having the opportunity to talk things through with a Homeopath, understanding what may be going on within us as a result of things changing around us, is very helpful – and I often see as being quite healing in itself!

Meltdowns are a form of exaggerated expression, of emotional overload and sensory dysregulation, whereby the body just can’t take anymore.

Those suffering with neurological conditions such as Autism, ADHD, PANs, PANDAs are particularly likely to suffer on a regular basis where the levels of anxiety and oversensitivity are often more extreme.

Feeling confident in how to deal with meltdowns is therefore very important in itself and the more we appreciate the triggers and pain that are being experienced, the more we can feel empowered to know how best to support.

Deep rooted anxiety can so often be part of the picture and to take a pause and try and understand what might be ‘behind’ the meltdown is very helpful.

There are some wonderful homeopathic remedies to support and the beauty is that there are no side effects, they are non-addictive and they do not dull the mind and natural spirit of the individual which sadly can be the case with conventional medication.

If you have any questions or need some specific help then please do get in touch.

My love about homeopathy is that during treatment, we usually see the picture of meltdowns happening in a lesser strength and fewer and further apart and this brings relief to all 🙂

The time before school and after school finishes each day can be very challenging. How’s it going so far, as the start of a new school year begins after a longer break…

We are so aware of the need for children (as well as ourselves!) to be able to express our emotions. But sometimes, this doesn’t happen effectively or in a way that is easy to understand and manage.

I really enjoy my work with those who need a bit of help when they are struggling with the education system. Do you need any help? I’m here if you do!

Homeopathic remedies can be SO helpful in enabling and supporting better processing mechanisms all round. There is often a lot of sensory processing in the picture, and to use a natural approach will prevent suffering with side effects and be able to work on a deeper level.

It has been a continued very hot and dry month over here in the UK and many people are now struggling with the prolonged excessive heat. Infact many of us may have noticed it has affected our mood and we may have been a little bit out of sorts. For those in the cooler parts of the world, you may equally have had enough of the cold and damp and lessened daylight hours.

All in all, I feel this month’s topic on communication could be a helpful read as we manage ourselves, our relationships and any inconveniences at these more testing times.

In the heat and the holidays, I am aware that we may need to keep our remedies to hand… but especially at the moment, we need to be mindful to keep them out of direct sunlight ☀️

📍Here are some more key pointers to help keep our remedies at their best:

🆒 Keep in a cool, dark place

🌶️ 🫚 Keep them away from strongly smelling items such as spices, perfume, toothpaste, essential oils

🥵🥶 Avoid extreme heat or cold

🔤 Label them clearly and in alphabetical order to make finding them in a hurry much easier!

📝 It can be good to keep a notebook and pen to hand so you can record what you have given, to whom and when. Keeping an eye on the effects of remedies is important!

🫙 Regular checking that lids have been replaced tightly

🧰 A storage system such as a box, tin with compartments or small shelving unit is helpful to keep the bottles upright and again, easy to find

📁 Some people even find keeping a data file with their stock is a quick way to search for a remedy they can remind themselves they have... or find out they don’t have... when you get to building your collection!

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please do ask! 😊👍

☀️ In this continued hot sunny weather… this is a reminder for us all to keep hydrated!

💧 Whilst homeopathy tackles dehydration and ailments from overheating, it does not replace fluid intake

🧊 Changing the look of water to a more appealing state (to therefore be drunk and not left on the side 😜) could include things such as:

• A fun straw 🥤
• Flavoured ice cubes 🍉🍋🍋‍🟩
• Decorative Herbs 🌿
• Sparkling water (but not too much) 🫧
• A novelty glass 🍹
• Level lines and a timer to make drinking water into a game ⏳

🍃 Lycopodium is such a well used remedy and one to have to hand in your homeopathic toolbox.

It is a great digestive remedy (bloating, flatulence, indigestion) and blood sugar balancer - it also has great affinity with the allergic picture, including food allergies.

This remedy also has a great emotional supportive strength to it for anxiety (often social/stage fright situations) and changeable temperament (when needing food!) The temperament of the child maybe one where they like to be the boss of the house (often a result of deeper inner fear) - so this can really help behaviour management.

It is also used in the field of cognition and learning (dyslexia)

When lycopodium does its trick, it can be such a relief to both the individual and those around them, and I always feel this remedy can pretty quickly demonstrate the way homeopathic remedies work emotionally and intellectually, as well as physically.

⭐️ As you can imagine from the above, I prescribe this remedy a lot!

🍃 This is only a snapshot of what this fantastic remedy can do - so please do get in touch to find out more.

⭐️ It’s always such a pleasure to receive feedback from parents watching their children respond so well to Homeopathy…

💫 Often at the start of a homeopathic journey, it can be hard to trust in those little white pills!

✨ Here, we can really see how homeopathy helps on the emotional side as well as the physical.

🇮🇪 I’ve just been lucky enough to have had the most wonderful few days exploring the BEAUTIFUL west coast of Ireland a bit! Here are some snapshots and of course the weather was extremely kind!

Whilst travelling my friend commented ‘you have something for everything!’ And I would heartily agree! I made good use of some chosen remedies taken in my travel kit:

• Rad Brom to deal with the ever-increasing airport/flight radiation
• Narayani Throat mix to combat the throaty cold my friend was suffering with
• Virus/flu remedies… just in case I picked something up in all the different social environments we visited
…and last but not least
• Mixed Pollens which sorted the effects of pollen being blown around a lot!

I’m SO grateful for homeopathy in a travel situation… How boring and irritating it would have been to have been unable to get the best of my break away!

Have you got a travel kit? If so, what do you have in it? It’s such a help, I can assure you!

Do get in touch if you’d like to know more 💪😊
