This changed everything I thought I knew about anxiety!
I spent years treating every sensation like an emergency. Every headache, every dizzy spell, every pain in my chest, every weird feeling thay I couldn't explain.
But anxiety LOVES fear and hyperfocus. So the more scared I became of the sensation, the louder my nervous system got.
Learning that anxiety symptoms are often protective responses, not proof of danger, completely changed the way I responded to my body.
It didn't change overnight, it chanhed slowly and with consistency until eventuallu my brain stopped sounding the alarm quite so loudly.
