Following our earlier announcement regarding the disruption caused by ongoing roof works at The Beacon shopping centre, we regret to inform patients that the Beacon Practice will remain closed for the remainder of the week.

The level of noise and disruption continues to impact our ability to provide a safe and suitable environment for patient care.

Patients with pre-booked appointments will be contacted directly and reallocated to our main branch in Victoria Drive.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

❗️❗️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ❗️❗️

Due to essential works being carried out on the roof of The Beacon Shopping Centre, there is significant noise disruption affecting the surgery today.

As a result The Beacon Surgery will be closed this afternoon. All patients with booked appointments this afternoon are in the process of being contacted and their appointments will be reallocated to the main branch of Victoria Medical Centre.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated with any further information.

‼️AFTERNOON CLOSURE‼️

We will be closed on the afternoon of Tuesday, the 21st of April 2026 from 12:30 pm to allow our staff to take part and protect protected learning training along with other practices in the area. If you need urgent medical advice that cannot wait until we reopen it then please call 01323 402710.

We will reopen as normal on Wednesday 22nd of April 2026

Please note; the Beacon Practice will remain closed all day Tuesday 21st of April and will reopen as normal on Wednesday the 22nd April.
