🙌 We would like to introduce our new Physio, Nicola Jepson, to the Sportswise team.

🙌 Nicola comes with a wealth of experience having worked in both the NHS, private practice and rehabilitation and gym settings. More recently she has held a first contact practitioner position working out of a local GP practice.

🙌 Nicola can see all musculoskeletal presentations but also has specialist skills as a Hand Therapist and will be looking to offer thermoplastic splinting later in the year.

🙌 She is also passionate about the treatment and management of scars, scar tissue and has manual skills in lymphatic drainage. She has worked extensively with patients recovering from oncology/breast cancer surgery and the scar tissue restrictions that can occur.

🙌 In her spare time Nicola enjoys running over the downs and spending time with her family and their dog.

👶 Growing and birthing a baby is hard work on your body Many women are left feeling unsure about how they should feel afterwards and have many questions regarding what/when/how can I help my body and return to what I love doing? Might be a marathon or you might just want to look live your life leak free, pain free and feeling strong.

👶 Whether you have symptoms or not, seeing a pelvic health physiotherapist can be a really empowering way to educate yourself about your recovery in not only the short term, but for the rest of your life.

👶 Vaginal delivery or cesarian section, you can book to see our pelvic health physiotherapist, Jo, any time from 6 weeks after delivery.
