Its here...the CQC has published its response to the consultation on TDDI at events, along with the updated guidance.

There is a lot to digest, but there are some really useful clarifications and practical examples in there.

I’m going to read it properly, think about it, and then I’ll share more.

Key dates: Applications open on 7 September 2026. CQC advises providers to submit a fully complete application by 1 March 2027 to allow time for it to be assessed before regulation begins on 6 December 2027.

In our response to our consultation, we summarise the main themes from the responses and feedback from both the online survey and from engagement activities, and how we have responded to this. This includes how we have improved and clarified our guidance, where appropriate.
