Supporting Our Partially Sighted Community

Here at Dove Mobility, we are proud to have an account with the RNIB and to support customers with a wide range of products designed to promote independence while staying safe on their travels

Recently, a customer visited us looking for a replacement roller ball for his cane after his current one had certainly “clocked up some mileage”! We were happy to help source a new one through the RNIB.

As you can see, these roller balls are available in a fantastic range of bright, eye-catching colours, allowing users to add a personal touch to their mobility aid.

A recent customer came to us with a dilemma. At 98 years old, Maureen needed her walker repaired, but unfortunately it was beyond repair. With a limited budget and relying on it ever to support her independence and safety around the home, she was in a difficult position.

We were delighted to donate a brand-new replacement rollator, helping one of our Eastleigh residents stay safe and mobile, .

Customer Story – Freedom at the Perfect Time

Mr Arnold came to us after unfortunately injuring his leg at work, making walking difficult and uncomfortable. With an exciting family trip to London Zoo booked just days away, he was worried he might miss out on the experience.

We were delighted to help by providing an immediate solution – a fully serviced 4mph mobility scooter, ready to take away the same day. Lightweight, easy to use, and designed to fit into most car boots, it was the perfect companion for a busy day out.

Was a pleasure to attend the local Dementia awareness support group today hosted by Val and the team.

Meeting other professionals who also wanted to gain an extra understanding with both families and people suffering with dementia.

Living with Dementia Workshops - Supporting Families & Friends 🧠

Starting from Tuesday 27th of January we’re offering Living with Dementia Workshops at Alston House, designed for families and friends of loved ones living with dementia.

This workshop focuses on empathy, perspective, and meaningful communication. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of life with dementia, explore how interactions affect those living with it, and have the chance to share your experiences in a supportive, relatable environment.

⏰ Time: 5.30pm (approx. 1 hour)
