My passion for the arts has always been my driving force. At art school, I focused on illustration, aspiring to become a tattoo artist, finding solace in my work with paper and fineliner. However, my life took a different route, and I verged off the artistry path and into veterinary. Everything changed when I witnessed my own father’s confidence soar after undergoing scalp micropigmentation (SMP). This experience reignited my passion, revealing the impact I could make through a different form of tattoo artistry. Motivated by a desire to help others, I shifted my focus to SMP, blending my love for art with a new purpose in life-changing treatments.
After completing my SMP training, I initially launched a clinic as part of a franchise. However, over time, I realised that the brand didn’t align with my vision or the direction I wanted to take my career. Following advanced SMP training, I found the clarity and confidence to establish my own company.
Now, I proudly own and operate ‘LS SMP’ in Colinton, Edinburgh. I understand that each client has their own unique needs, and I tailor every treatment to reflect just that.
I’m passionate about my work—not just the precision and artistry of the treatments themselves, but the lasting, positive impact they have on people’s lives. That difference I’m able to make is, by far, the most rewarding part of what I do.
