Pebbles in Piercings 💓🫂💛
It is an absolutely surreal experience being able to weave two of my crafts together, through piercing and jewellery making. To create the metal and the piercing it sits within.
I started after completing my piercing apprenticeship, one chain led to a charm, that led to traditional setting techniques and many gold fixed bead rings, to then making molten set jewellery which I've fallen in love with. The fun challenge is balancing a raw organic exterior with a super smooth polish where my pieces contact the skin. It's a meditative process getting everything all shiny!
