Sometimes, doing what you know in your heart is the right thing isn't always easy. ❤️

Especially when all you're trying to do is act with love, kindness and the very best intentions, yet negative opinions still find their way in.

It's tough. It can make you question yourself, even when deep down you know you're doing the right thing.

But I've come to realise that not everyone needs to understand your decisions. Not everyone will see things through your eyes or feel what you feel in your heart.

And that's okay.

When your choices come from a place of love, compassion and wanting to do what is right and honourable, you have to trust yourself.

You can't control other people's opinions, but you can choose how much space you give them.

Stay true to your heart. Stay kind. And never let someone else's negativity make you question the goodness of your intentions.

Because sometimes doing the right thing takes courage. ❤️

Meet my new Meinl Sonic Energy Rain Disk.

As I gently move it, it creates the most wonderful sound of falling rain.

Sometimes a soft, gentle shower, other times a heavier rainfall, constantly changing, just like nature itself.

There's something incredibly comforting about the sound of rain. That familiar rhythm that invites us to slow down, soften and simply be.

So for the next few moments…

Close your eyes.

Relax your shoulders.

Take a gentle breath.

Imagine you're somewhere warm and safe, listening to the rain falling outside.

Nothing to do. Nowhere else to be.

❤️ A little reassurance from me to you…

As many of you know, life is changing a little for our family as we prepare to welcome Mum into our home here in Scotland.

It's a big change, and one that will undoubtedly bring new challenges, but also so much love, laughter and hopefully some beautiful new memories.

I wanted to take a moment to reassure you all of something that's incredibly important to me.

Sound Bath Studio isn't going anywhere. ❤️

My sessions will continue, and I have every intention of growing and developing what we offer.

I've noticed quite a significant drop in bookings recently, and whilst I completely understand that some of you may be wondering how things will work with Mum coming to live with us, I would hate for anyone to think that I'm stepping away from something I love so much.

The truth is, this wonderful community and the sessions we share mean more to me than I can ever really put into words.

Sound Bath Studio isn't just my business. It's something I've poured my heart into, and the connections, friendships and moments of peace we've created together are incredibly special to me.

I can be there for my Mum and still be there for you.

There may be times when life requires a little flexibility, but I have an amazing family and a wonderful network of support around me.

I truly believe we will find our new rhythm.

And just as I remind you all during our sessions…

We are enough ❤️

We are allowed to experience change, to feel uncertain, and still trust that beautiful things lie ahead.

So please, keep coming. Keep booking your moments of rest. Keep supporting this little business that has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

I love what I do, I love this community, and I'm excited about everything still to come.

🥁✨ PERCUSSION........THE GENTLE JOURNEY BACK ✨

Have you ever wondered why I often finish my sound baths with rain sticks, chimes and the gentle rhythm of my shamanic drum?

There is a reason. ❤️

Throughout a sound bath, the layers of sound invite you to slow down, soften and perhaps drift into that beautiful space somewhere between being awake and asleep.

But I don't want to suddenly bring you back from that peaceful place.

🌧️ Rain sticks create the gentle sound of falling rain. Familiar, soothing and natural, they can help you reconnect with the world around you.

✨ Chimes offer delicate, shimmering sounds that invite your awareness to gently return. There's something beautiful about listening to each note fade into silence.

🥁 The shamanic drum brings a soft, steady, earthy rhythm. For me, it represents grounding, almost like a heartbeat, inviting you to reconnect with your body and the present moment.

I use these instruments intuitively, listening to the room, feeling the energy and allowing the sounds to unfold naturally.

It's not about waking you up.

It's about gently guiding you back.

Back to your breath.
Back to your body.
Back to the present moment.

And hopefully taking a little of that peace with you into the rest of your day. ❤️

Because the ending of a sound bath deserves just as much care as the beginning.
