Open Studios & Open Farm Sunday at Rosemains Steading

Join us this Sunday for Open Studios and Open Farm Sunday at Rosemains Steading. Our studio will be open throughout the day, and we’ll also be running guided meadow tours so you can enjoy the meadow at its very best.

Chelsea Flower Show changed everything for us…

In just a few days we:
• Handed out 1,172 leaflets
• Had 613 conversations about wildflower meadows
• Served 821 cups of tea ☕

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

What really stayed with us were the conversations, the people we met, and seeing how deeply people care about reconnecting with wildflower meadows and nature.

From meeting inspiring growers and garden designers to unexpected moments seeing people like David Beckham and King Charles III, the whole week felt surreal.

And honestly? We’ve only shared a tiny fraction of it.

Hear from Seilich’s gardener Naomi on the surprising benefits of hungry hares 🌱🐇

At first, we noticed the hares munching on some of the young plants… but over time, we realised they were actually helping. Their grazing acts almost like natural pruning, encouraging the plants to grow back bushier and stronger.

It’s a beautiful reminder that at Seilich, we work with nature — and nature often knows best. 💚

Honoured to have been named Winner of Sustainable Lifestyle Product of the Year 2026 for Seilich Meadow Blend Tea.

The judges recognised our Meadow Blend Tea for its combination of biodiverse agriculture, regenerative cultivation and a genuine commitment to nature restoration. Grown, harvested and dried within species-rich UK wildflower meadows, the tea was praised for showing how consumer products can actively support habitat recovery, pollinators and soil health while delivering a high-quality botanical infusion.

They also highlighted the authenticity behind the brand, noting that meaningful sustainability is rooted in evidence, transparency and measurable ecological impact - values at the heart of everything we do at Seilich.

In all the excitement of yesterday here at Chelsea Flower Show I forgot to share the most incredible news of all, that we bloody won Chelsea’s Sustainable Excellence Award for Product of the Year! Or should I say our wonderful Meadow Blend Tea did. So glad that the wonderful of was with me to celebrate the win, a win for our meadows and a win for all Wildlife Friendly certified growing practices 🙌. It was great to have a chat with sustainable business guru and the incredibly knowledgable Professor Chris Harrop too. What a day.

Oh my goodness, what an absolutely crazy three days that was! But we did it!! Our first ever stand at RHS Chelsea Flower Show is built! So proud of all the work that went into it. The meadow looks incredible and all the plants are faring well in the London climate. The show starts today (it’s a six day epic!) and we’ll continue to post as the week goes on. Huge thanks to everyone who had helped to get us here, it really is amazing. Feeling very excited!!!

We’re incredibly proud that our Meadow Blend Tea has been shortlisted as a finalist for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Sustainable Excellence Award

As the UK has lost 97% of species-rich lowland meadows since the 1930s, our Meadow Blend Tea is grown within habitat systems designed to help reverse that decline.

Global herbal tea supply chains are typically dependent on intensive monoculture systems, long-distance transport and limited traceability, often emphasising flavour or health claims rather than land-use impact. By contrast, Seilich Meadow Blend Tea is grown within a habitat-first system whereby production does not displace biodiversity but sustains it.

Production of our Meadow Blend Tea requires the restoration of species-rich meadows, which in turn:
🌼 Provides pollinator habitat
🌱 Protects soil carbon through non-ploughed perennial systems
🚫 Avoids synthetic fertilisers and pesticides
🇬🇧 Reduces reliance on imported botanicals
📚 Educates consumers about regenerative horticulture

Each purchase contributes directly to habitat creation and stewardship.

We find out on Monday 🤞🏻whether we’re the winner, but being recognised as one of the final three already feels incredibly special.
