A huge good luck to Emma!!! 🌟 She set off from Glasgow early this morning on her 57mile ultra marathon. It has been so inspiring to follow along on Emma’s training journey - it’s so exciting that she’s now crossed the start line 💪

Emma has been raising money for Edinburgh Headway Group and continues to smash her fundraising goals - thank you so much to Emma and to everyone who has donated ❤️ your contributions go directly into our service and help us to continue to support our members in so many ways!

We had a lovely time at the Heriot-Watt University Healthy Ageing Showcase 2026 🧠

It was great to chat to attendees and other exhibitors about our service and how we promote health and wellbeing as we age 🌟

They both had such a great impact during their time at the service - they’ll be well missed! 🫶

We’ve had a lovely day out at the National Library of Scotland today!

Thank you to Sarah who guided us round the Rain exhibition (curated by her!) and to Beverly and Anne who took us on a journey through their weather themed storytelling and singing! ⛈️☔️☀️💨🌈

We're off to the National Library of Scotland tomorrow to see their exhibition about Rain and get stuck into a practical workshop all about Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 It's always great to see what's on in the Community, thank you National Library of Scotland 🌟

Connecting Disabled People, those with long term health conditions and carers to peer support focused on all areas of social care.

⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
📍Location: Gordon Room, Norton Park Conference Centre

Our peer support groups provide a safe space to connect with others through shared experiences with the aim to strengthen knowledge, skills and confidence in all aspects of Self-Directed Support (SDS) and available social care options.

The sessions are welcoming, relaxed and informal. We focus on bringing people together to discuss the aspects of SDS that matter to them.
