This publication can be used as a workbook for both students and professional homeopaths. Each Organ illustration highlights common and lesser known homeopathic remedies which have an affinity for that particular organ. The book goes down the body and ends out at the skin – representing our homeopathic ‘law of cure’ from the internal organs outward and downwards. This publication was created to be used as an educational supplement. Each illustration has listed remedies with additional blank space for personal notes. A creative space for your own learning style - sketching, keynotes, top remedies, modalities etc. The aim for this publication is to support each homeopath to gain a deeper learning for organ affinities in relation to materia medica.

Index Organs - 1. Brain 2. CNS (Central Nerves System) 3. Eye 4. Ear 5. Teeth 6. Sinus 7. Thyroid 8. Lungs 9. Heart 10. Blood 11. Liver 12. Pancreas 13. Stomach 14. Bowel 15. Bladder 16. Breast 17. Female 18. Male 19. Joints 20. Skin 21. TCM - Organ Clock

Ashwagandha – → and eventually, it exhausts itself
BURN OUT // THREAT // UNSAFE
Chronic stress, the world can feel threatening.
The body carries the burden physically and immune system weakens… our resilience fades. Thoughts swimming around in my mind… and Ashwagandha pops up!
Energetically Depleted and dried out, this plant is commonly found growing by roadside.

Withania somnifera, A plant showing resilience thriving in worn down conditions. the name translates to ‘smell of a horse’ - it is said to give you the strength of a horse, stamina and vital energy. It is known as a adaptogenic herb used for energy.

The homeopathic picture of individuals whom require the remedy… they begin with an excited nervous system, anxiety, restlessness, palpitations, a mind that won’t switch off. Then fatigue, low mood, indifference, depletion follow.

BURNOUT
🌿 As part of the Solanaceae family, Ashwagandha carries the general themes of darkness and light - living in a threatening world. Sensitivity and intensity with the demands in the world.

Cooled down after the Aries ♈️ heat this week? Feeling the inflammation rise…physically or emotionally?

Living with an autoimmune condition can be overwhelming, especially during intense energetic shifts. This week in clinic I’ve supported people navigating Hashimoto’s, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Crohn’s, PCOS, Endometriosis, Colitis, Fibromyalgia, Lichen Planus and MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome).

Homeopathy offers individual support—addressing both physical symptoms and the emotional load of chronic conditions. It works to gently rebalance your system, supporting you as a whole, not just isolated symptoms.

New patient appointments available from June, in-clinic Edinburgh or online

A little about me…
Alongside clinic work, I create homeopathic learning resources, lecture at the NorthWest College of Homeopathy, and supervise both student and professional homeopaths.

My background blends science and art. I trained in herbal medicine during my time at Napier’s Herbalists—one of the UK’s oldest dispensaries—and completed postgraduate training in Homeobotanicals. Before homeopathy, I studied Fine Art and Museum Studies at St Andrews University.

When I’m not in clinic, you’ll usually find me walking, moving, stretching the body—or enjoying good food and beautiful things.

Curious how homeopathy could support you? Get in touch.

Have you been experiencing headaches this week, feeling the pressure to move forward, and experiencing rising inflammation? With today’s Aries new moon ♈️, my thoughts are brought to the surge of fire — Aries energy with drive, and forward movement. What homeopathic remedies reflect this FIRE ENERGY??… this brought me to Panax Ginseng, Korean Ginseng, commonly prescribed by herbalists for physical energy.
What is the Homeopathic picture…. Jan Schloten states ‘Panax ginseng reflects a state of exhaustion after excess: a person who has lived intensely, pushed the body, and used up their reserves. There is desire and stimulation, but underneath — depletion.’

Physical particular is Head ache: forehead, behind eyes, temples, occipital, one-sided; bruised, pressing, pulsating; worse for < noise, < stooping, < waking, < lying, > walking, > closing eyes

Essence is driven yet weakened, stimulated yet fatigued, seeking more… but with little left to give. Similar to acid remedies such as Phos-acid. The state may appear energised at times, but this is not true vitality — it is borrowed energy.
Themes may include
• Nervous exhaustion from overwork or excess
• Desire for stimulation >>coffee
• Fatigue that does not resolve with rest

A defining feature is depletion of the vital force:
– “wired but tired”
– energy crashes after activity
– difficulty restoring strength

Over the last week I’ve noted more than ten people, myself included…have been to the dentist… It made me think, what is the significance?

Teeth 🦷 our bones - the bare 🦴 bones - They are our structure and foundation which are body hangs and grips around…

Looking at the world right now, we see financial markets crashing, mortgages rising, uncertainty about the future…many people feel that the foundations our literally crumbling around us.

So I can’t help but wonder if there’s a symbolic link.

At the same time, there may also be simpler explanations. After a long winter with little sunlight, could low vitamin D be affecting our bones and teeth? Have there perhaps been a few too many sugary treats over the darker months?

Or is it that we are looking to bring stability in to our lives, so we look to care for our teeth? As humans we are attempting to nurture the foundations to bring internal harmony to an ever changing society…

Does this resonate with you?

With the first of March (even with the freezing weather), there feels a lightness in the air and a spring in peoples step as I pass them by this morning in the crispy clear sunshine. My thoughts and eye is drawn to the beautiful Crocus’s popping up around me - Did you know Crocus or commonly known Saffron is a homeopathic remedy?

Homeopath Rajan Sankaran states the emotional picture “In Crocus the attractiveness and aggressiveness alternate with each other. At times, the patients can be extremely attractive. This is manifest in behaviour such as very affectionate kissing, embracing, loving and caring. They are also very talkative, they sing and dance, and they are often the life of a party.”

A wonderful remedy for stringy and congestive coughs with spring colds in the air…

This is a small fraction of factors which contribute to Autoimmune disorders and MCAS
