We want the overall experience of visiting the doctor to be as comfortable, welcoming and easy as possible for you.

Our large, beautifully appointed clinic is located on the corner of Randolph Place in the west end of Edinburgh City Centre, combining Georgian elegance with modern interiors. As well as our state-of-the-art consultation and treatment rooms, we have a comfortable, private space for you to sit should you need time after any of our procedures.

We place great value on spending time with our clients face-to-face, but we can of course consult with you by videocall, telephone, or we can come to your home or place of work. We want this to be as enjoyable, easy and accessible for you in a world of multiple demands on your time.

No-scalpel vasectomy.

It’s a great name. It’s also… not quite the whole story.

What it really means is a minimally invasive vasectomy technique – using a tiny opening rather than conventional surgical incisions, with minimal tissue disruption and a small wound.

And that’s the technique we use at Edinburgh GP.

But we think something else matters just as much as the technique:
Who actually does your vasectomy – and how often they do it.
Our GP surgeon performs vasectomies every week and sees a high volume of patients. Although people sometimes assume a consultant surgeon must be the obvious choice, many consultants have broad surgical practices and may actually perform relatively few vasectomies.

For a procedure like this, there is a lot to be said for someone who does them week in, week out.

Add in our discreet central Edinburgh clinic, comfortable surroundings and reassuring, personal approach and we aim to make the whole experience considerably less daunting than you might imagine.

You will get to meet our surgeon and discuss your options before you commit.

You don't always need a consultant dermatologist – and you certainly don't always need every mole digitally mapped.

At Edinburgh GP, an experienced GP with a special interest in dermatology can examine your skin and use dermoscopy to take a closer look at moles and other lesions.

The important thing is knowing your own skin – particularly as you get older.
A new mole, a changing mole, or simply something that looks different deserves a proper look.

And if a benign or troublesome lesion needs removing, you don't necessarily want to wait weeks or months for another appointment. We offer minor skin surgery with an experienced GP surgeon, at sensible private prices.
