What is comedogenicity?
Comedogenicity refers to the likelihood of an ingredient or product clogging pores, which can lead to blackheads, whiteheads, and breakouts. It’s a key factor when developing and assessing skincare products, especially for acne prone or sensitive skin.

🔬 How do we assess it?
We conduct facial studies at our Edinburgh Clinical Site to evaluate the comedogenic potential of skincare products under controlled conditions, helping brands understand how their products interact with real skin.
