3 things I always do when building a necklace stack.

Different chain lengths to get that lovely layered effect, mixing textures (I love a chunky chain next to something more delicate) and charms of all different shapes and sizes.

I actually love it when the charms overlap and jumble together. I think that’s what makes a necklace stack really interesting and feel like your own little collection of treasures.

Save this for when you’re building your next stack!

One of the questions I get asked all the time is how to put a charm necklace together, so here’s where I’d start if I was building mine from scratch.

I’ve gone for our little cherub, the vintage white topaz cluster and our love token. I really love how they stack together.

When I was designing the collection, it was really important to me to have charms in lots of different shapes, sizes and textures, because I think that’s what makes a really good charm jumble. Each piece has its own little personality, but they still all work together.

And that’s what I love most about jewellery. You can mix and match whatever you like and end up with a necklace that’s completely your own. Chances are nobody else will have quite the same one as you.

Anyone else obsessed with stacking their necklaces with different chain textures and lengths? I love our Albert swivel charm holder, complete with heart detail for extra vintagey-ness.

I will be wearing these on repeat all autumn šŸ

For 7 years, you’ve known us just for our incredible piercing jewellery. Today, that changes.

KEEPSAKE IS LIVE ✨

This collection has been such a labour of love. It started with my obsession with vintage jewellery - unusual chains, tiny talismans, whimsical charms and those pieces you find that just feel special.

I wanted to create jewellery you could play with. Collect it. Layer it. Add to it. Change it around depending on your mood.

Jewellery with personality, for all the versions you are.

With so much love from me to you.

My jewellery has a secret message today.

ā€œWhat’s for you won’t go by youā€ — something my Glaswegian Nanny Jean used to say to me when I was younger, and it’s always stuck with me. There’s a little thistle on the front too, for my Scottish roots.

So I’m wearing it as my good luck talisman today as we get ready to launch our brand new necklace collection. Feels like the right message for today šŸ¤žšŸ¼

Also, is there a better autumn combination than chunky cream knits and gold jewellery? I don’t think so.

The first drop of our new collection will launch at 7pm this evening.

Proof that five piercings is all you need.

A little gold fern, a little green clover, a leopard in the lobe šŸ†and a beetle in the rook.

Consider this your sign to start building your dream ear stack.

A little bit of what I’ve been up to this week…

It’s been a LOT. We’re just days away from launching the biggest new product range we’ve launched in seven years, so work has been pretty all-consuming.

There’s been modelling for the new collection, filming my first ever podcast (which I was so nervous about!), and I finally started Invisalign with Dr Kiki Norman - something I’ve wanted to do for ages and a little thing just for me amongst all the madness.

I somehow squeezed in a Friday night drink at Gleneagles Townhouse, a Saturday at the zoo with my family, then spent Sunday working in the shop - which I actually loved. It was so nice being on the shop floor, chatting piercings and jewellery and hearing people getting excited about the new necklaces in real life.

And now we’re into launch week 😬 I’m excited, nervous, slightly overwhelmed and really, really hoping you love what we’ve made.

Here we go āœØšŸ¤ž

Fit my daith hoop with me.

This is a clicker hoop, so one side is hinged and the other clicks into place. It works using a little bit of tension in the hoop, you gently open it at the hinge, feed it through your piercing, then line the two ends back up and press until you hear that little click.

That click means it’s securely closed - and that’s it.

Any questions pop them below…

Autumn is for necklace stacks, charm jumbles & collecting things you love.

I love the turning of the seasons and switching up my style. Gold chains over knits, loads of different lengths, vintage-inspired charms, little flashes of sparkly bits and basically just piling it all on.

I’ve been designing and working on Keepsake for so long that I’m so excited to be able to share how I’m styling all these necklaces and charms.

These are some of the stacks currently on rotation that I fully intend on wearing all autumn.

The first drop launches next week šŸ˜†
