Euan’s Guide is the award-winning disabled access charity (charity number SC045492) working to make the world accessible to all disabled people. We’re best known for EuansGuide.com, the go-to website for disabled access information written by and for disabled people. We also make tens of thousands of accessible toilets safer, run the UK’s largest Access Survey and lots more! The charity was founde

d in 2013 by Euan MacDonald MBE, a powerchair user, and his sister Kiki after Euan was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease. They discovered how the lack of disabled access information made everyday experiences stressful and Euan’s Guide was born after discovering that other disabled people experienced the same challenges.

Huge congratulations to our Molly Molly GBBO as she heads into the Bake Off tent!

We were excited to see the news break last night, along with the overwhelmingly positive comments about this year's line-up.

Molly is making history as the first non-celebrity wheelchair user to take part in the show, and we're sure she'll blow everyone away with her brilliant bakes and sunny personality.

We've been lucky enough to taste Molly's baking on her visits to the office and can't wait to see what she creates in the tent.

Good luck, Molly!

Joe will be shining a light on great places to visit in Scotland in a series we’re calling Accessible Alba!

Whilst in the Outer Hebrides, Joe took a stroll/roll through Aline Community Woodland. This short woodland walk has a boardwalk covering the whole route, making it much easier for wheelchair, powerchair and scooter users to connect with nature.

We think it’s beautiful, even in the rain!

If you have any favourite accessible outdoor spaces, let us know in the comments.

Disabled access still isn’t good enough, and for disabled people, poor accessibility can turn an ordinary journey into a stressful and exhausting experience.

This morning, Euan’s Guide Community Manager Joe spoke to Stephen Jardine at BBC Radio Scotland about accessible travel and his own experiences navigating Scotland as a disabled person.

What are your feelings on this? Let us know in the comments 🫶

Molly made sure to visit Nottingham Castle and really enjoyed the views inside and out! There were lots of different exhibits with the information on display being offered in a number of alternative formats as well.

This was the last stop on Molly's trip to Nottingham. Where would you like to see the Euan's Guide team go next?

There are shots of the gardens, video exhibits, paintings, stained glass windows and lace items. Molly also does some speaking to camera, specifically when talking about the accessibility and alternative formats she saw available in the exhibits.

Next is Ruff who is a black and white dog wearing a yellow assistance dog vest and helping to open the front door. Then is Lando, a black and tan sausage dog wearing a teal bandana around his neck with a Euan's Guide pin on it and he does a spin.
