🎃 Halloween Gathering at Astra Lines 🎃

On this sacred night, we invite you to step into our comfy little space for the thinning of the veil between the spiritual worlds. Join Sarah and the Astra Lines crew of artists for a spiritual, creative, and heart-opening evening held in the cozy, celestial atmosphere of our studio.

🌙 The Journey of the Night
✦ We begin with tea, snacks, and gentle conversation as we ease ourselves into the circle. Together, we’ll honor Samhain history and light a candle for the spirits who came before us. We open our hearts with ceremonial cacao, calling in the energy of the night.
✦ Through a grounding meditation to drop-in, we release the mind and welcome in the new energies of the darkest season to come.
✦ Guided by intuition gained from this meditation, we will create personal sigils for ourselves, symbols of spiritual purpose, to transforms our mental intention into a visual, symbolic form.
✦ These sigils will be carved into tiny pumpkins to embody your magic for the night, and also painted onto your skin for those who want, as temporary tattoos charged with your original intention.
✦ Once darkness falls, we will carry our candles into the historic Newington Cemetery, walking in silence and connection, guided by the spirits of Samhain.

🕯️ Practical Details
– Event begins at 6PM.
– Tickets required (link in bio). Spaces are limited.
– Hosted by Sarah (the_adhdwitch_) with Poppy (poppyluna.tattoo) and Erica (ericat_tattoo), the tattoo artists from Astra Lines, who will be part of the journey alongside you.
– A safe and inclusive space: LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly.
– Come in your favorite spooky or magical costume to honor the spirit of the night !

We quietly opened Astra Lines a few months ago—and after taking the time to settle into the space, we’re finally ready to invite you in for a proper opening day 🕊️💫

🌿 This is a rare chance to step inside our private, appointment-only studio : come see where the magic happens, explore the space, meet us, ask questions, and feel the vibe 🪄⭐️

We’ll have tea, juice, snacks, and a soft, welcoming atmosphere. We’re shy creative folks, but we’ve worked hard to make Astra Lines a gentle, inspiring sanctuary ; and we are now proud to be able to share it with you.

🪄 Admission: one pet photo at the door (yes, seriously - but no, not really we just love animals 🐱)

Poppy is an artist with a passion for creating enchanting and diverse artwork. Originally from France where she developed her craft, she relocated to Scotland to explore her artistic vision in a more inspiring environment.
As a proudly autistic and spiritual artist, she brings a distinct perspective and heightened sensitivity to every project of all sizes. The opening of Astra Lines in 2025, is a reflection of her personal universe - a safe, welcoming space where everybody can explore their own creativity and imagination.

Specializing in blackwork, and drawing inspiration from fantasy universes, she creates from all sort of subjects like botanical designs, portraits, animals, and themes like folklore, nature and witchcraft, she particularly loves drawing dragons and elegant lady portraits.

Poppy also excels in cover-ups, transforming old memories into exquisite art that reflects each customer’s journey. Through collaboration, she forges meaningful connections with her clients, ensuring her work resonates deeply within each of them.
