Shell-ebrated World Turtle Day with a creative art session full of colour, imagination, and lots of turtle-inspired masterpieces! 🐢🎨

Residents enjoyed spending time together painting and creating beautiful turtle-themed artwork, sharing smiles, conversations, and plenty of creativity along the way. Activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage self-expression, connection, and joy within our home. 💚

Today here at Seaview we dug out the sun hats,slathered on the sunscreen, filled our glasses full of ice cubes and mocktails and made our way outside where we welcomed back Ritchie Lee who sang the afternoon away in the sunshine ☀️ Great way to start the bank holiday weekend here at Seaview!

A few days ago here at Seaview as part of our monthly cuisine travels we decided to visit Spain 🇪🇸 we had a delicious lunch including paella, Spanish tortillas and Seville orange marmalade pudding and enjoyed traditional Spanish music 🎶 we also discussed our past travels to Spain (which many of our residents have been to) and then we sat together and watched a traditional Spanish bull fight with a glass of sangria 🍷 it was a particularly rainy and grey gloomy day this Tuesday and this event really brightened the place up and what could of been a gloomy Tuesday ended up being a whole lot of fun with great food,drink,music and lots of smiling faces and conversation!

Food Tasting Day at Dene Care Home 🍽️
Residents enjoyed a lovely Food Tasting Day at Dene Care Home , sampling three new dishes—Hunter’s Chicken, steak and kidney pie, and jam roly poly. Everyone had the chance to rate each meal, helping us decide what to add to the menu.
It was a great success, with lots of smiles and feedback. We’re excited to include the residents’ favourites in future menus!
