ā˜€ļø Happy 1st September! ā˜€ļø

Whilst some of you are already getting excited about the ā€œBERā€ months… šŸ‚šŸŽƒšŸ

I’m currently in Greece pretending September doesn’t exist. šŸ˜‚šŸ‡¬šŸ‡·ā˜€ļø

You all know I’m a spring/summer girl through and through. Give me sunshine, blue skies, warm evenings and bare feet and I’m a happy woman!

There’s just something about sunshine that makes everything feel better, isn’t there? ā˜€ļø

The warmth on your skin, being outside, topping up your vitamin D, feeling happier and generally having absolutely no desire to put a bloody coat on for the next 6 months! šŸ˜‚

I genuinely love the way sunshine makes me feel. It lifts my mood, gives me energy and makes me want to get outside and actually live rather than hibernate under a blanket like a human burrito. šŸŒÆšŸ˜‚

BUT…

I will admit there are a few things about the colder months that I secretly love…

šŸ”„ A fire roaring
🧦 Fluffy socks
šŸ•Æļø Candles everywhere
🌿 The diffuser going
ā˜• A hot drink
šŸ“ŗ A cosy night in
…and absolutely ZERO guilt about staying in my pyjamas all evening.

So maybe I can get on board with autumn after all… just don’t expect me to stop talking about summer anytime soon! šŸ˜‚

And I think that’s what wellbeing is really about finding the little things that make YOU feel good.

Sometimes that’s a massage, reflexology or Reiki.
Sometimes it’s getting outside in the sunshine.
Sometimes it’s switching off your phone and having a bloody good cuppa.
And sometimes… it’s doing absolutely nothing and calling it self-care. šŸ˜‚šŸ™Œ

So I’m going to soak up every last bit of this Greek sunshine before I reluctantly return to reality. ā˜€ļøšŸ‡¬šŸ‡·

Team sunshine ā˜€ļø or Team cosy nights šŸ”„?

And please choose carefully… because I will judge you. šŸ˜‚

That’s me done see you on the 14th September. I’ll give my magic hands a good rest šŸ™ŒšŸŖ„āœØšŸ§™

What would you do differently?

I’ve just watched a video of people in a care home, coming towards the end of their lives, being asked:

ā€œIf you could do it all over again, what’s the one thing you would do?ā€

Lovely to see a lot of them saying marry my husband again or watch my children grow up again. Then there were some go back to school and work harder.

It really made me stop and think…

There was a time when teachers told me I should do A Levels, go to university and pursue law. Law was actually on my list, but if I’m honest, I didn’t really know what I wanted.

And because I was being told what I should do, my rebellious streak kicked in and basically thought, ā€œWell, you can bu**er off… I’m doing what I want!ā€ šŸ˜‚

So I chose a GNVQ in Health & Social Care.

While doing that, I got a Saturday job and met someone who was studying for her NNEB. I thought, why not? So after my GNVQ, I applied and got accepted.

That led me to becoming a nanny, then a teaching assistant, then working for Sure Start. I even started teacher training…

And then I stopped.

I reassessed.

I chose to train in beauty… and eventually found my real passion in holistic therapies.

Now, I sometimes wonder about that sliding doors moment.

What if I had listened to everyone else?

What if I had followed the traditional path?

What if I had gone to university, studied law and ended up standing on that stage in my cap and gown?

I could have made everyone else proud.

But would I have been happy?

And the answer, surprisingly, is I wouldn’t change a thing. ā¤ļø

Because if I had taken that other path, I may not have the life I have today.

I may not have met my husband.

I may not have my amazing daughter.

I may not have the friendships, experiences, lessons, adventures and memories that have shaped who I am.

And I certainly may not have ended up doing what I do now — creating a space where people can pause, breathe, reconnect with themselves and simply be.

Through reflexology, Reiki, massage and the natural support of doTERRA, my work is about wellbeing, but it’s also about something much bigger…

Making time for yourself while you’re still here.

Because perhaps the question isn’t just ā€œWhat would I change if I could do it all again?ā€

Perhaps it’s:

ā€œWhat am I going to do with the life I have right now?ā€

We can spend so much of our lives doing what we think we should do, trying to make other people proud, chasing the next achievement and putting ourselves at the bottom of the list.

But life isn’t a rehearsal.

So maybe today is the day to take a little pause.

Listen to yourself.

Follow the nudge.

Choose happiness over expectation.

And make sure you’re actually living your life, not just getting through it. ✨

What would your answer be if you were asked that question?

What would you do differently? ā¤ļø

5am club šŸŒ…āœØ

I actually managed to get myself into the 5am club today… and honestly, there’s something quite magical about starting the day before the world wakes up.

A quiet walk, some fresh air and a little natural red light therapy from the morning sun ā˜€ļø — no screens, no rushing, just time to breathe, move and connect with myself.

Wellbeing isn’t just about what happens when you step onto my treatment bed for reflexology, massage or Reiki. It’s about the little things we do every day to support our mind, body and energy too.

Sometimes that might be a treatment, sometimes it’s stepping outside into nature, taking a few mindful breaths, moving your body, creating space to rest… or choosing more natural products in your home with my doTERRA oils. 🌿

There’s no perfect wellness routine. I certainly don’t have one! šŸ˜‚

It’s simply about finding the little things that make you feel more grounded, nourished and like yourself.

And today, my little thing was getting up at 5am and watching the day begin. šŸ’œ

How are you choosing to look after yourself today?

šŸŒ… Sometimes wellbeing starts before the day has even begun…

This morning I stepped outside while the world was still quiet, walked through the fields and watched the sun slowly rise over the countryside.

No rushing.
No notifications.
No to-do list.
Just fresh air, movement, sunshine and a little space to breathe.

And it got me thinking about what wellbeing really means.

It isn’t just about booking a massage when your body is aching or waiting until you’re completely burnt out before you take time for yourself.

It’s the little things we do before we reach that point.

A walk.
A few deep breaths.
Time in nature.
A moment of stillness.
Listening to what your body is asking for.
Creating space for your mind to slow down.

And that’s really at the heart of why I do what I do with my little business. šŸ’œ

Through reflexology, massage, Reiki and doTERRA wellness products, I want to create a space where you can pause, reconnect with yourself and remember that you matter too.

Because looking after yourself isn’t selfish, and it doesn’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes it can be as simple as stepping outside, feeling the ground beneath your feet and watching the sun come up. šŸŒ…

Wellbeing isn’t something we should squeeze into the gaps of life.
It is part of life. šŸ’œ

What could you do for yourself today, even if it’s just 10 quiet minutes?

Watching my daughter on the swing reminded me of something.

As children, we don’t need permission to play. We laugh until our tummy hurts, climb trees, jump in puddles and swing as high as we possibly can without worrying what anyone thinks.

Then somewhere along the way, we become adults.

Life gets busy. Responsibilities pile up. We carry the weight of work, family, bills, expectations and stress… and without even realising it, we stop playing.

We stop doing the things that make us feel free.

But wellness isn’t just about eating well, exercising or getting enough sleep. It’s also about joy. It’s about laughing until you cry, dancing in the kitchen, walking barefoot on the grass, watching the sunset, swinging so high your stomach flips and remembering that you’re still allowed to have fun.

When our children see us embracing life instead of simply surviving it, they learn something incredibly valuable. That growing older doesn’t mean growing joyless.

This is one of the reasons I love what I do.

Whether it’s massage, reflexology, Reiki or supporting families with doTERRA essential oils, it’s never just about easing aching muscles or helping someone relax for an hour.

It’s about helping people reconnect with themselves… so they have the energy, the peace and the freedom to truly live.

Because healing isn’t only about recovering from what hurts.

It’s also about making room for what lights you up.

So here’s your reminder today…

Go on the swings.
Dance in the rain.
Laugh loudly.
Be silly.
Choose joy.

Your inner child is still in there… and they deserve a little attention too. šŸ¤

Today I take the day off to celebrate our wonderful girl ā¤ļø
Eleven years of laughter, wonder and light, Of dancing through days and shining so bright. From skates on the ice to the thrill of the stage, You’re writing your own extraordinary page.
With music turned up, from Olivia to Metallica loud, You sing with your heart and make us so proud. From Friends to Stranger Things, the Simpsons too, Every adventure seems better with you.
You dream of new countries, new places to roam, Finding excitement wherever you call home. From football crowds roaring to Alton Towers’ height, You chase every moment with fearless delight.
You’d happily choose sushi, then chocolate for dessert, Leave a trail of creative chaos and never mind the dirt! Your bedroom’s a mystery no map could explain, Yet somehow you always find treasures again.
You’re funny and witty with sarcasm to spare, Creative and thoughtful, with kindness to share. The sort of friend who makes others belong, The one who makes ordinary days feel like a song.
So never stop dreaming, exploring or being you, Keep laughing, keep dancing in all that you do. Because the greatest adventure, wherever life leads, Is simply the wonderful person you’ll grow to be.
Happy 11th Birthday, Ella. You are loved more than words could ever say, and being your Mum and Dad is the greatest adventure of them all. ā¤ļø

For years, I didn’t know what looking after myself really meant.

I wasn’t making wellness a priority because, if I’m honest, I was too busy trying to outrun my own pain.

I buried my trauma. I partied. I distracted myself. I kept telling myself I was fine… until one day, I wasn’t.

Eventually my body and mind said, ā€œEnough.ā€

I had a breakdown, and that became the beginning of my healing journey.

What I’ve learnt since then is that wellness isn’t something we turn to when we fall apart. It’s something we should weave into our lives before we get there.

We think nothing of booking a hair appointment, getting our nails done, seeing the dentist, visiting the doctor or having our eyes tested. They’re all accepted as part of looking after ourselves.

So why do we still see our emotional and physical wellbeing as a luxury?

Now I understand that taking time for a massage isn’t an indulgence, it’s a way of releasing the tension my body has been holding onto.

Reflexology gives my body the opportunity to rebalance.

Reiki creates the space to slow down, breathe and reconnect with myself.

And doTERRA essential oils have become part of my everyday wellness routine, supporting both my body and my emotions in simple, natural ways.

None of these things ā€œfixedā€ me overnight. Healing isn’t an end point, it’s a lifelong journey. But every small step helped me become the person I am today.

That’s why I’m so passionate about supporting others.

You don’t have to wait until your body is exhausted, your mind is overwhelmed or life forces you to stop before you give yourself permission to care for yourself.

Your wellbeing deserves to be part of your routine, not something you only think about when you’re running on empty.

If my own journey has taught me anything, it’s this…

Looking after yourself isn’t selfish.

It’s one of the most important investments you’ll ever make. šŸ’œ

Be sure to include yourself in your list of things to take care of this week. šŸ¤

When life gets busy, we’re often the first thing to slip down the priority list. We tell ourselves we’ll rest tomorrow, book the massage next month, or start looking after ourselves when things quieten down.

But your wellbeing deserves a place on your to-do list today.

Whether your body is asking for a massage to ease tension, your mind needs the calming energy of Reiki, your feet are longing for the restorative benefits of reflexology, or you’re looking for natural support with doTERRA essential oils, I’m here to help you find a little more balance.

Healing doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with one small act of choosing yourself.

✨ Ready to invest in your wellbeing?
šŸ“© Message me to book your treatment or if you’d like personalised advice on which doTERRA products could support you and your family.

You deserve the same care and kindness that you so freely give to everyone else. šŸ’œ
