Testicular pain doesn’t always mean there’s a lump - in fact, there are several possible causes, and not all of them are serious.

Pain or discomfort in the testicles might be due to inflammation (epididymitis), fluid build-up (hydrocele), infection, or even torsion (a twisting of the testicle that requires urgent treatment).

A testicular ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive way to assess what’s going on. It checks for blood flow, fluid, swelling, and soft tissue changes - giving valuable insight into what might be causing your symptoms.

If you’ve noticed a sharp pain, swelling, heaviness, or discomfort, don’t wait and wonder - booking a scan could help put your mind at ease.
📍 Reports are provided on the day and can be shared with your GP.

Many people are surprised to learn that an ultrasound scan can assess the thickness of the womb lining, known as the endometrium.

Changes in endometrial thickness can be associated with a range of benign conditions and can provide useful information when investigating symptoms such as irregular or heavy periods.

This scan may also be used as part of fertility and IVF treatment planning, where monitoring the womb lining can help assess readiness for treatment.

Please note that this service is suitable for pre-menopausal women and those commencing IVF treatment. It is not suitable for post-menopausal bleeding, which should always be discussed with your GP or healthcare team.

That sharp pain in your heel when you get out of bed isn't something you should ignore.

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain, but many people put up with symptoms for months, hoping they'll simply go away on their own.

Often, the pain is at its worst during those first few steps in the morning or after sitting down for a while. It may ease as you get moving, only to return after a long walk, a workout, or a day spent on your feet.

While plantar fasciitis is common, it's not the only cause of heel pain. An ultrasound scan can assess the soft tissues in your foot, helping to identify changes to the plantar fascia and providing valuable information about what's causing your symptoms.

Our experienced sonographers can explain what they see during your scan and provide a detailed report for you and your healthcare professional. Although sonographers do not diagnose medical conditions, an ultrasound can often provide reassurance and help guide the next steps.

If heel pain is affecting your daily life, it may be worth getting it checked.

Found a lump or bump and wondering what it could be?

It’s completely natural to want answers. A soft tissue ultrasound is a quick, non-invasive way to assess lumps, swellings and bumps beneath the skin, helping to identify what type of tissue is involved and whether any further investigation may be needed.

Our experienced sonographers can provide a detailed ultrasound assessment and explain what they can see during the scan. While ultrasound can often provide reassurance and valuable information, it’s important to remember that sonographers do not diagnose medical conditions. If further assessment is required, we can provide a report that can be shared with your GP or healthcare professional.

Please note that we do not offer ultrasound scanning of soft tissue lumps in the neck.

If you’ve noticed a new lump, a swelling that doesn’t seem to be going away, or simply want peace of mind, a soft tissue ultrasound can be an excellent first step.

Hip and groin pain is one of those areas where people often aren’t quite sure what they’re dealing with.

It might start after exercise, feel worse when you’re walking or getting in and out of the car, or just sit there as a constant ache that never fully settles.

Some people feel it more in the hip, others more in the groin, and sometimes it moves between the two, which is why it can be difficult to know what’s actually going on or who to even speak to about it.

That uncertainty is usually the hardest part.

A scan won’t give you a full diagnosis on its own, but it can give you a clear picture of what’s happening in the area so you’re not left second guessing or going round in circles.

Appointments are often available the next day, and you’ll receive a detailed report shortly after, so you can move forward with the right information rather than just “waiting to see”.

All scans are carried out by experienced specialist sonographers, so you’re getting expert input from the start.
