The last couple of years have brought challenges, growth, memories, and moments I’ll always be grateful for.

Results are officially in, and I’m delighted to say… that’s a wrap, for now 🎓💫

The next few weeks are going to be a little intense as I head into exam season for my Integrative Healthcare degree 📚✨

It’s a busy and focused time, but also a reminder of how important it is to look after our own wellbeing – something I’m very passionate about bringing into my treatments 🤍 … however I do need to acknowledge that I need to improve on this for myself 🥴. That said, the benefits of having talented therapists, as colleagues and friends, is a major boost. 🙌

I still have some availability left for the remainder of April, so if you’d like booked in, please give me a shout 🌿

✨ What I Do When I’m Not Treating… ✨

You might think I just disappear after your appointment… but nope 👀

When I’m not in the treatment room, I’m usually analysing spreadsheets like this , from my most recent Aromatherapy case studies — tracking stress levels, pain scores, and making sure what I do is actually working (not just magic hands… although I’ll take that too 😌✨ however not tonight as my hands and wrists ACHE after a busy week between clinics).

Funny isn’t it… remember in school when we all said “when am I ever going to use maths in real life?” 👀
Well… here I am living my best spreadsheet life 😂📊

AND right now… I’m also in the thick of practical assessments as we near the end of the academic year at Uni 😅📚
So it’s treatments, studying, assessments… and a lot of coffee☕ (non-negotiable - do as I say and not as I do 🤫).

Yes… I really do sit and look at numbers like this
No… it’s not as glamorous as a massage couch and making essential oil blends especially for YOU
😂

BUT — it means:
✔️ Your treatments are tailored to YOU
✔️ I can track real progress (not just “that felt nice”)
✔️ I’m constantly learning and improving

So behind every relaxing treatment is a slightly less relaxing amount of admin, revision, and number crunching 🤓

All worth it when you leave feeling better 💛

I am delighted to announce that in the very near future, I will be offering Eve Taylor Facials. The essential oils in these aromatherapy-based products smell amazing, make your skin feel amazing and leave it glowing.

I headed to Inverness Half Marathon yesterday morning with every intention of taking part…

The early start ✔️
The beautiful Highland views ✔️
The pre-race nerves ✔️

However, somewhere between arriving at Inverness Leisure and seeing thousands of actual runners warming up, I remembered my real role for the day…

Providing post-race treatments for these incredible humans! 🏃‍♀️💪

While they were conquering 13.1 miles, I was on the recovery squad – helping bring tired legs back to life with and Inverness Therapy Clinic ( Thank You for having me).

Huge respect to everyone who took part - all 5,100 of them – the energy, atmosphere and weather, was amazing!

And for anyone wondering…
My marathon consisted mainly of carrying a treatment couch across the car park ….and back again. 🤫

Welcome, March 🌿

It’s been a full and productive start to the year — something I’m truly grateful for.

Alongside my treatment diary and increasing university commitments, I’ve been celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday and caring for Harris as he recovers from his operation and adjusts to having only half a tail 🥴. He’s had a rough time and it has very much taken a village — with support from my daughter and my parents — and I’m incredibly thankful. Naturally, this has meant my focus has shifted slightly behind the scenes.

A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful aromatherapy case study clients. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you and witnessing your progress — your consistency and commitment has truly paid off, with some fantastic results achieved.

There has also been meaningful work happening quietly in the background, all contributing to the continued growth and development of Balance & Evolve.

Due to current university demands, I have temporarily deactivated the online booking system to allow for greater flexibility and control over appointments. However, I AM very much still here and DO have availability over the next eight weeks. Please feel free to message directly to arrange your booking.

March brings lighter days and a gentle sense of renewal. As always, thank you for your continued support.
