Weekly relaxed sessions to help you slow your mind down, take a break from overthinking, look after your wellbeing, and connect with other people who get it — all from home.

Morning!☀️

Who else is enjoying the sunshine? I feel like I’m on holiday! — This kind of weather always makes me feel relaxed and energised at the same time. There’s something about brighter days that makes it feel like the perfect time to reset, and do something for yourself ✨

A few people have asked what to actually expect from the Emotional Triggers workshop, so I thought I’d explain a little more 🖤

This isn’t a therapy session, and it’s definitely not about being “good at art.”

The workshop is a relaxed, creative space where we’ll explore emotions, stress responses, self-awareness, and emotional triggers through simple creative activities, reflection prompts, and open discussion (only if you want to share).

You can expect:
✨ A calm and welcoming atmosphere
✨ Creative exercises using colour, words, and art materials
✨ Gentle reflection prompts
✨ Conversations around emotional reactions and self-awareness
✨ Time to slow down and reconnect with yourself a little
✨ Tea/coffee, creativity, and a supportive environment

You will leave with - a deeper understanding & connection to yourself and at least 2 different pieces that you have created.

There’s absolutely no pressure to open up or share personal experiences. Some people talk, others quietly create — both are completely okay.

This workshop is really about giving people space. Space to reflect, express, understand themselves a little more, and hopefully leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.

Hi everyone! 👋🏼

My name’s Emma, and I’m the face behind Calm Minds. You may have seen a lot of posts recently about creative wellbeing workshops (thank you for bearing with me while I learn how to advertise 😅).

I wanted to make a little post to reintroduce myself and share a bit more about what Calm Minds is all about…

So, alongside Calm Minds, I’m a busy mum of two and I’m also a Psychotherapist. Through my work I help people explore self-awareness, reconnect with parts of self, and create space for healing.
However, many people may feel like therapy is not an option for them, for a variety of reasons - so I decided to start Calm Minds! - A dedicated, supportive, creative space for people to come as they are, understand themselves a little better, practice self-care and leave feeling less alone 🤍

And the creative part isn’t just for fun (although fun matters). Creativity can help us externalise thoughts and feelings, reduce shame, and reconnect with playfulness — something many of us lose along the way. People also get to take home their creations as visual reminders.

So now you know a little more about me and Calm Minds, I’d love to know more about you and hopefully welcome you to a workshop soon!
