Life can feel very full sometimes.

There are always things to do, people to care for, messages to answer and places to be.

But I've been reminding myself lately that looking after ourselves isn't something we should squeeze in when everything else is done.

It deserves a place too.

That's why I love this little corner of the chapel so much.

A quiet space. A beautiful view. A treatment bed waiting outside. And permission to simply slow down. 🌿

There’s something rather special about being home-based. 🌿

When you come for a treatment at Secret Sanctum, you’re not stepping into a busy salon, with people coming and going, phones ringing and the next appointment waiting outside the door.
You’re coming into my little sanctuary, tucked away in the countryside, overlooking the Fens.
And that means I can be a little more flexible.

✨ If the sun is setting beautifully, we can take a moment to enjoy it.

🦇 If the bats come out while you’re having your treatment, we can stop and watch them dancing across the sky.

🌿 And if it’s a beautiful evening, your treatment doesn’t necessarily have to take place indoors. We can take it outside and enjoy the fresh air, the sounds of nature and the view or stay cosy inside. The choice is yours.

☕ If you need an extra few minutes to come back down to earth, that’s okay too.

And if you’ve had a particularly difficult week and need to talk a little longer before or after your treatment… that’s okay too.
For me, holistic therapy has never been about simply fitting a treatment into a 60-minute appointment.
It’s about creating a space where you can slow down, breathe, feel listened to and just be.
Perhaps that’s one of the little advantages of coming to a home-based sanctuary. 🤍
No rushing.
No busy salon.
Just you, your treatment, and a little bit of holistic magic.

✨ A little update from Secret Sanctum Holistic healing ✨

I’ve been a little quiet on here recently, and I just wanted to pop on and say hello! 🥰
For those who don’t know, I’ve been a little preoccupied with getting married 💍, followed by some much-needed summer holidays and family time. It’s been a really special (and very busy!) few weeks, and I’ve loved having some time to slow down and enjoy it all. ❤️

For those who are new here, I thought I’d also introduce you properly to Secret Sanctum Holistic Healing 🌿✨
Secret Sanctum is based at our home, which is a beautiful old Methodist chapel, tucked away overlooking the fenland. It’s a very special, peaceful little space, and it’s where I’m lucky enough to offer my holistic treatments in a calm and private setting.
The chapel has so much character, history and soul, and it really does make the most magical setting for a little bit of rest, relaxation and self-care. 🕯️🌿

Heres a little video of the chapel turnt into a chapel again for the day so you can have a little peek inside and see where the Secret Sanctum magic happens. ✨

Thank you to everyone who has continued to follow, support, recommend and book with me while I’ve been quiet. It genuinely means so much. 💚

I’m looking forward to getting back into the treatment room and welcoming you all back very soon. Taking evenning bookings for the week 24th August until school starts back up.
