Healthier 🌱 Happier 😊 Stronger 💪🏽
I’ve lost 2.7kg in 5 days on the carnivore diet.
But does that automatically mean the diet is working?
If your only goal is rapid weight loss, you might say yes.
But sustainable fat loss and improving your health are about far more than making the number on the scales smaller.
Today I felt lethargic, lacked energy and skipped my mobility workout.
One bad day doesn’t prove carnivore caused that — but it does highlight something I see constantly with weight loss.
People go to extremes.
Cut carbohydrates. Cut entire food groups. Drop calories lower. Exercise more. Add more rules.
And as long as their weight keeps dropping, they assume it must be working.
But your energy matters.
Your sleep matters.
Your strength and fitness matter.
The quality and variety of your diet matters.
Your relationship with food matters.
And understanding the habits and behaviours that drive how you eat matters.
A calorie deficit can help you lose body fat.
But the goal shouldn’t simply be to get lighter at any cost.
It should be building healthier eating habits and a way of living that helps you become healthier, happier and stronger.

The scales are useful data.
They’re not the definition of success.
