People do not always miss you.
Sometimes they miss the way you made them feel safe.
Overthinking is not weakness.
It is often a tired mind trying to protect you from pain that has not even happened yet.
Being ignored can hurt deeply because your nervous system reads disconnection as danger.
Sometimes you are not attached to the person.
You are attached to the relief, the attention, the warmth, the feeling of being chosen.
Someone can love you and still not be good for your peace.
Your brain notices what hurts because it was built to survive before it was built to feel calm.
The more you replay something, the heavier it becomes.
Words matter.
But patterns tell the truth.
Most fears shrink when they are gently faced.
Being too available to everyone can mean abandoning yourself.
Your mind listens to what you repeat.
So speak to yourself like someone you are trying to heal, not punish.
Most people are thinking about their own wounds, worries and lives far more than they are judging yours.
The mind can become a storm.
But it can also become still water.
The same body that learnt survival
can learn safety.
The same mind that imagined the worst
can be guided back to peace.
Protect what you feed your mind.
Because your nervous system is always listening.
The Stillpoint is where overwhelm pauses.
Where the body exhales.
Where you come back to yourself.
