πŸŽ‰ Happy Birthday, Mark! πŸŽ‰

We recently celebrated a very special birthday, and we're sure you'll join us in wishing Mark a fantastic year ahead! πŸ₯³

Mark had a wonderful day surrounded by his housemates and the people who know him best. There were some brilliant presents, plenty of smiles, and a fantastic party enjoyed by everyone. 🎁🎈

A huge thank you to our amazing staff team for putting together such a delicious buffet and helping to make the day so memorable. ❀️

Creating opportunities for people to celebrate in their own way is what we're all about, and it was lovely to see so much fun, friendship, and happiness shared throughout the day.

πŸ“Έ Last week, we shared some of the stunning landscape photographs taken by Jack. Now we can reveal where he was exploring!
Jack and our Support Worker Freddy enjoyed a fantastic day out in Burton upon Trent, taking in the scenery and capturing some brilliant shots along the way. 🌿
It's wonderful to see people pursuing their interests, enjoying new experiences, and making lasting memories. By the looks of these photos, it was a lovely spot to visit too! 😊

The last Monday in August already? Crikey! At least it's a Bank Holiday Monday. πŸ˜„
We caught up with Danny while he was out shopping with Deputy Manager Emma last week and asked him to help us wish everyone a fantastic week ahead.
So, from Danny and all of us at Lisieux Trust, have a brilliant week whatever you've got planned! 😊

Tomorrow is your last chance to have your voice heard in our Annual Survey. The more we hear from you, the more we can learn.
The survey closes at 9am on Monday 1st September, so please make sure you get your response in before then.
Thank you for helping shape the future of Lisieux Trust. πŸ’œ

Nick has been busy in the kitchen, creating this delicious Apple and Peach Crumble with a little support from Trust staff member Jean. It looks absolutely fantastic, and we're sure it tastes even better!
The best news? Nick has promised to save some for the social media team next time... as long as we're quick enough! πŸ˜„
Well done, Nick for another tasty creation.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ½οΈ Over the next two days, we're sharing some of the brilliant culinary talents from across Lisieux Trust!
First up is Jack, who spent Monday preparing his signature lasagne for his housemates. It looks delicious, and we're sure it went down a treat! πŸ˜‹
A big thank you to Support Worker Diana for being on hand and for sending us this fantastic photo.
For those of you with a sweet tooth, don't worry, we've got something special lined up for tomorrow... πŸ°πŸ‘€

πŸŽ‰ As we celebrate our 40th year, we're also taking time to look back at the wonderful people who have been part of our journey.
Here's Lisa, who has been with Lisieux Trust for decades. In this photo, she's keeping active while enjoying a dance to Bob Marley at the same time! πŸ’ƒπŸŽΆ
The picture was shared by Deputy Manager Emma, and it captures the spirit, joy and sense of community that have helped shape Lisieux Trust over the last 40 years.

Aston Villa may not have had the ideal start to the Premier League season, but that hasn't stopped the Villa pride among the people we support and our staff! πŸ’œπŸ’™
Following Paul's trip last week, Sarah recently headed down to the Villa Park store to pick up some club goodies. With so many passionate Villa fans across Lisieux Trust, we're starting to think it might be time to challenge them to a match of their own! ⚽
Who's backing the Villa this season? πŸ‘‡

Aston Villa FC

🎨✨ Our latest craft session was a real hit!
Support Workers Sonia and Rachel recently organised a creative afternoon for the tenants in their house, including Sarah and Stephen (pictured). The room was buzzing with activity as everyone got stuck into making a variety of colourful creations.
It's always wonderful to see people expressing their creativity, trying new things and enjoying time together. Take a look at the final photo to see some of the fantastic pieces that were made during the session!

πŸπŸ¦ŽπŸ“Έ A Wild Day Out and a Hidden Talent Discovered!
Some of our tenants recently attended Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park's "Let's Get Wild Day", a fantastic event designed for adults with a learning disability.
The day gave everyone the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of amazing animals and reptiles, creating plenty of smiles, excitement and unforgettable memories.
While all of our tenants had a wonderful time, one resident discovered a talent for wildlife photography! Armed with a camera and a keen eye, they captured some fantastic images of the animals throughout the day.
Experiences like these are so important, giving people the opportunity to explore new interests, build confidence and enjoy new adventures in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
We think you'll agree, the photos are pretty impressive! πŸ“ΈπŸ’š
