👋 We're ETNG Essex Companions, a brand new, local companionship service for elderly people across Essex.
We started because too many elderly people are sitting alone, and too many families are quietly worrying about them.
We're not a care agency. We don't do clinical work or personal care. We do something simpler, and arguably more important.
We provide warm, local companions who visit regularly. For conversation, company, shopping trips, walks, appointments and simply being there.
Every companion is DBS checked. Every visit comes with a written update to the family.
And the first visit is completely free.
If you have an elderly parent, relative, or neighbour who could do with more company, we'd love to help.
