I was very pleased to see Joel today, after my visit on Monday, it wasn't looking good for him. He's an old boy 28 years young.
Joel and Mary have a bond that's beautiful to watch. Both received the gentle energy of Reiki to support them. ✨️

Reiki

I often get asked what is Reiki?

It originates from Japan and roughly translated means 'Spiritual Energy or Universal Life Force Energy'. It is not based on religion or a belief system. It is non-invasive, i.e. you are not physically manipulated, it's not a massage. It is a treatment that works with energy, which in turn encourages the body into self-healing, clearing away stagnant energy and bringing in a healthier, lighter and happier you.

All Reiki Practitioners work with the 5 principles of Reiki:

Just For Today I will:
Not Worry
Not Anger
Be Honest in my work
Be compassionate to yourself and othres
Be Humble

Anyone can have a Reiki treatment. It is completely safe for all. There are no contra-indications.
I see a wide range of clients, from Pregnant ladies, babies, children, adults to end of life. I also work with Animals.

Some Practitioners use Hands on positions, some use Hands off positions.
I use a mix of both techniques

Some Practitioners use music in their sessions. Some don't.
I personally do, as I feel it brings in the calm and peace to the space

You are always fully clothed and under a sheet or blanket. You should never be asked to removed clothing, only your shoes. To remove clothing is strictly unethical and completely inappropriate.

Every Reiki experience is different, everyone is unique. What one person feels will be different for you. You may see colours, they may not, They may feel heat, you may not.

Each Reiki treatment will support you and your body's own healing process. It treats the whole of you, mind, body, soul and emotions.

Popped to The Farm Animal Sanctuary to see Joel. He's very much in his twilight years and I'm giving him a little bit of extra support with some Animal Reiki. Spent about an hour with him today, channeling the gentle energy ✨️
