First time making a honey jar! 🍯💛🌿

This was such a beautiful process with so many special moments. As a Vegan (of a meager 2 years) I haven't tasted the sweet deliciousness of honey in yonks, but lately I felt a calling back to it. Probably brought on by a stinking cold 🤧 I'm a firm believer in listening to your body's intuition, and at long last, this week I welcomed in a jar of locally sourced honey that supports the ecology of local bees. 🐝

I wanted to welcome honey back into my life in a way that would honour and respect this gift from nature. Combined perfectly with the sweetest and most sacred gift from a friend, I began a sacred unwrapping ceremony, in which the blessing of honey took part. I switched between reading meaningful words from a friend and unwrapping her gifts, to filling up my jar. Filling up my cup with love for sure!

This jar was cleaned, saged, and filled with a scattering of earth's gifts. I drew upon each element - earth, fire, air, water, and wrote an intention onto a piece of paper - "May the sweetness and kindness of love and friendship always reach you". After adding a few other secret ingredients 😉, I took it to the Oak tree for a final blessing. 🌳

Now, I have this beautiful jar that I can use for offerings, healings, and other intuitive work. I dedicate this golden sweetness to those in need of it. May the sweetness and kindness of love and friendship always reach you, wherever you are. 💛

My new spiritual space! - aka 'the yoga room' 🦋🌿🪶

How lucky I am to have a whole room dedicated to spiritual practices 💛 It's still unfinished and missing a skirting board, but I love it. I feel so honoured and humbled to have it 😌

Good morning and happy Sunday! 🍂

I have a beautiful card to share with you today...

Stretch brings us the beautiful reminder of how well we're able to adapt to different seasons and life situations, as long as we trust. Just as the limbs of a tree stretch towards the sun, we can stretch towards our goals with joy and abundance in the knowing that we will grow along the way. 🌱🌿 Results don't appear immediately, they take time. Take a moment to think about what you're stretching towards, or what life is directing you towards. How are you adapting? How is it encouraging you to change? What season are you in? Remember to move and sway your branches like the tree, welcoming in change. The trunk will be rooted and grounded into the soils you were seeded. 🌬

Yesterday on our walk, we hugged a tree. This beautiful old tree said: "Don't guess how old I am, feel how old I am. Don't know me by my name, know me by how you feel when you're with me". Ancient teachings of the land will always bring us back to the essence of what it means to be a spirit walking this earth. 🌳🙏
