Hello, I’m Sophie, HR Manager for Vision Care, Langford Park & Sainthill House & I have something to ask you all 🙏🏻💕
We’ve been receiving the most beautiful letters, pictures, stories & gifts from the most kindhearted of adults & children from all over the UK ✉️🎁📝
They have truly moved me to tears 😭 & I know we have some replies on there way & pictures to show you all on here in the coming weeks.
My ask today is a rather random one - I’d love for you & your families to write a little note, postcard or draw a rainbow & send it to our amazing staff teams.
They are all working so hard & are genuinely going above & beyond 💕
Id love them to receive some “positive post” to open & keep them smiling ☺️

Have you always thought about becoming a volunteer? Is it finally time to make a difference? Have you got some spare time? Or do you have a quirky talent or hobby that you would be happy to put to use?

We are in the process of collating a list of volunteers who we could call on to help us out in our Care Homes if needed.

If anyone reading this would be happy to put their names down then please can you please let us know & Sophie, our HR person will make contact with you directly.

The help offered could literally be anything from helping out with housekeeping, providing transport, helping in the kitchens, doing the tea round, or even assisting residents.

An active DBS is not at this time mandatory but would be a benefit.

Please note this is a list that we may never need to use & is only as a precaution should we need it - We are proactively & creatively looking at every avenue of support at this time.
