✨ Why are consultations so important? ✨
We know you’re excited for your hair appointment, but a consultation is one of the most important steps in achieving the best possible results while keeping your hair healthy.
During your consultation we’ll discuss:
🤍 Suitability – Is your hair suitable for the service you’d like?
🤍 Hair condition – We’ll assess the health and integrity of your hair to ensure it can safely achieve your desired result.
🤍 Porosity & strand testing – Where necessary, we may carry out a porosity test and/or strand test to assess how your hair will respond to the service and help us achieve the best possible outcome.
🤍 Products – We’ll identify the products we’ll need to use and, if necessary, order in any specialist products before your appointment.
🤍 Medication & medical history – Some medications and health conditions can affect how your hair responds to colour or chemical services, so it’s important we know in advance.
🤍 Patch testing – If you haven’t visited us for a while, or you’re having a colour service, you may require a repeat patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment to ensure your safety.
Once your consultation has been completed, a minimum 30% deposit will be required to secure your booking. For Yuko Hair Straightening services, a £100 deposit is required.
