Think STIs only affect certain people? Think again. Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can affect anyone, whatever their gender, s*xuality, race or religion.

If you’re in a same-s*x relationship, there’s still a risk of catching an STI through s*xual contact or by sharing s*x toys. Unless you know your partner’s s*xual health status, there’s always a chance of infection.

STI testing is easily available from GPs, pharmacies and s*xual health clinics. You can even test at home. Free self-test kits are available for Devon residents via My Devon Sexual Health.

Our clinics are closed on bank holidays.
Emergency contraception can be accessed from some Minor Injury Units and pharmacies.
If you think you have been exposed to HIV in the last 72 hours and require emergency PEP medication, this is available from major hospital A & E departments.

Our clinics will be open again on Tuesday 26 May.
Our team will be very busy during this time, if you wish to make a non-urgent appointment, it may be worth waiting to book at a later date.

Self-testing STI kits make it easier to test your s*xual health from home.
They're a great option if you have no symptoms and you want to do a 'check up' on your s*xual health.
You can order self-testing kits online via our website. Simply look for the self-test link or search self-testing

Devon Sexual Health offers drop-in appointments for young people with no appointment necessary. You can visit us to discuss STI testing, contraception, and more
For those 18 and under, visit Castle Circus Health Centre, Torquay on Tuesdays from 2:30-5:30pm or Devon Sexual Health, NHS Walk-in Centre, Sidwell Street, Exeter on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30pm.
For those 21 and under, visit First Floor, Barnstaple Health Centre on Wednesdays from 2:30-5:00pm.
