Before you rush into the weekend trying to catch up on everything you didn't get done this week...
Pause.
Take a breath.
Notice your feet on the floor.
Notice the tension you're carrying.
Then ask yourself:
"What do I need this weekend?"
Not what everyone else needs. Not what's next on the list. What you need.
Maybe it's movement. Maybe it's rest. Maybe it's laughter. Maybe it's doing absolutely nothing for an hour.
