I haven't posted in over a year and I am not sure if anyone will read this. However in January this year I had my left knee replacement operation and I am four months in now and starting to become more active. I have rejoined the gym and started walking.
Yesterday I walked the hill outside my front door. It was a 25 metre gain and took 21mins up and down. That's the first hill I have climbed since the operation. Today I walked up a hill the other side of my road and walked down my hill. That's was a 97m gain,I am over the moon. Other than being out of breath and my right knee grinding on the downhill I am now fully recovered.
I would like to thank the NHS for the wonderful treatment I have had, from the surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses, physios and pharmacist you have all been amazing.
