If you need a certain look to feel good about yourself, are you really confident or are walking on thin ice, 2mm away from a cold plunge into insecurity?
You are allowed to have preferences but you shouldn’t need a be a certain size, or have a perfect body to feel good about yourself.
Build confidence on self-efficacy, not looks.

Ok, you got discharged, that’s excellent. Now, you need to keep making the right choices day in, day out without being accountable to anyone. You can skip meals, remove the carbs, the dressing etc., and exercise all you want.
No one will ever know… except you.

Swimming against the tide has always been hard but I think weight restoration has become harder of late.
Everyone around us is shrinking and yet, day in, day out, you are making the choice to rebuild yourself.
Some people will be healthier using those drugs but remember, you are not those people. You will become healthier when you regain weight.
Keep going.

Don’t make yourself uncomfortable to make people comfortable with your body.
Everyone is allowed to wear dresses, you don’t need a particular body.
I was wearing a jumpsuit this morning but then I became unbearably hot and knew I needed to change.
At first, I felt a bit exposed in that dress: too much on show, not tanned enough and it’s kind of see through regardless of the choice of pants.
But then: « so what?! » I thought. I need to be comfortable, and if people are offended by the sight of me, they can always look elsewhere.
