If you are looking for that something a little bit special then let me cater for your tea party. It can be for any occasion, birthday, anniversary, wedding, hen party, baby shower, christening, naming ceremony, a works do or just a catch up with friends. I will provide everything you need for your vintage tea party. My personal service includes freshly baked homemade scones, each one is individual

ly made by myself,a choice of local jams & lashings of Devon clotted cream with tea & coffee together with the use of my beautiful mis-matched vintage crockery. I can also provide homemade cakes-please see my menus. I will deliver free of charge (within a 10 mile radius of Exmouth) to your chosen venue & set up your tea party. Leaving you & your friends to enjoy your tea at your own leisure. I will then return in time to clear up & take all the dirty dishes away,leaving you free of the washing up! If you would like me to stay & host your party I can do this at a small extra cost please just ask me. All of the food is homemade by myself in my own kitchen which is registered with the Food Standards Agency & I hold a level 2 Health & Hygiene certificate. I use award winning local suppliers…a selection of jams from Highfield Preserves in Willand, Devon. Langage Farm supply me with their Devon clotted cream & I use Fair Trade Clipper tea & coffee.

Hello all you scone and cake lovers 💛
I have recently done a few afternoon tea parties and realised I don’t really post much about these, so I’ll share what I do.
I provide everything you need for your special treat.
Homemade scones, Devon clotted cream and jams. With this I’ll also provide my mis-matched vintage crockery, tea and coffee . I’ll even do the washing up for you, so you can just sit back and enjoy your afternoon tea. It starts @£10.50 pp for this but you can also add on finger sandwiches @£4.95pp, mini cakes @£2.95 each and whole cakes start @£20
I’m available for this at weekends mainly because I have a “proper job” in the week 🤣. All other orders in the week I can deliver after 4pm.

Hello all you scone lovers 💛
I had the privilege of serving my Devon cream teas at a beautiful wedding today. 💒
The weather was perfect , the bride was absolutely stunning and the setting was glorious. ☀️
Cream teas were served outside in the sunshine after the ceremony and photos. The guests enjoyed them while sipping on their drinks before the speeches and the party began. 🍸 💃
I made 140 scones , all served the Devon way of course. Also catered for dietary requirements with vegan scones and cream.
The venue was just wonderful, amongst the Devon hills with views of the countryside as far as the eye could see. 🤩
It was such a treat to be a small part of someone’s special day 💛
Now home for a well deserved cuppa 🙏🏻

This was as a tray bake so it’s easy to cut into lots of smaller bite size portions for a bigger party. Also can be an 8inch round cake 🎂

I started off this beautiful day with a refreshing sea swim 🌊
Then home to bake scones and mini Victoria sponge cakes with fresh cream and berries. 🍓
My regular customer from America ordered this for his mum as it’s Mother’s Day there.
Always happy to make bespoke orders.
Now off to sit in my garden and enjoy the sunshine ☀️

The “perfect” scone
I’ve made hundreds of scones, well probably thousands over the last 25 years and they still excite me!!
I love the imperfections of my homemade scones, the wonky ones and the crispy edges. The fluffy light texture and the generous size, topped with cream and jam is a match made in Devon heaven.
A cream tea is my special-tea 💛

This girl can work hard but can also rest well and play hard. Had a restful afternoon in a beautiful local tea garden, home for a nap 💤 then off out out tonight dancing 💃

I’m up to my elbows with Easter baking, crème eggs and mini eggs are all over my kitchen. Having fun baking and listening to my favourite Bruce Springsteen. Kitchen dancing is a must today. 💃

Well I seem to have over 2000 followers!!!! So thanks for being here. Just thought I’d do a quick update for all the newcomers 👋
My name is Sue….SuZie Sue to some, well lots actually 🤣. I’ve been baking scones and cakes for over 25 years now, 10 of those have been this lovely little business I run from home. Before that I ran a gorgeous tea room of my own. Now, I work full time in a primary school 7am-3.30pm so most deliveries are after 4pm or like a lot of people do, you have the option to collect in the day, from my home in Withycombe.
In the school holidays I’m more flexible but I do take the 6 weeks summer holidays off and go travelling in my little van around Cornwall 🚐
I bake scones and cakes and offer free delivery in Exmouth and a small charge for Budleigh and Lympstone.
I have a menu which is pinned to the top of my business page but I also do lots of bespoke baking. I don’t specialise in celebration cakes ( but I can recommend people who do). I’m your traditional baker, delicious scones, cakes and afternoon teas just like Granny used to make. All baked fresh to order. I can cater for food intolerances like gluten free, dairy free and vegan.
I don’t post on here much but I do take orders and bake pretty much every day when I have availability.
Thank you to all my regulars who keep me so busy , I couldn’t have done the last 10yrs without you 🙏🏻
