🌟 Above & Beyond Award Winner – Donna! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Donna, our latest Above & Beyond Award winner!

Donna was nominated by two of her clients, both of whom wanted to recognise the extra mile she goes to support the people she cares for. ❤️

One client was particularly grateful for Donna’s advocacy and determination in helping them access additional help and support. Thanks to Donna taking the time to listen, understand their needs and speak up on their behalf, the extra support they needed is now in place. 🙌

Our second nomination showed Donna’s fantastic problem-solving skills and patience! When her client was having trouble with their washing machine, Donna helped them work through what was happening and discovered that the issue wasn’t actually the washing machine at all — it was a broken socket!

These may seem like small things to some but it’s exactly this kind of care, attention, patience and willingness to go that extra mile that makes such a difference to our clients.

Donna, thank you for everything you do and for always putting the people you support first. You are a fantastic example of going Above & Beyond! 🌟❤️

We are delighted to introduce Hazel, who will be stepping into the role of Team Leader from September.

Hazel has been a valued member of our team since May 2025 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Hazel has worked across a variety of areas, including safeguarding and behaviours that challenge.

Throughout her time at PCS, Hazel has consistently demonstrated compassion, professionalism and dedication to providing outstanding care.

I have no doubt that Hazel will excel in her new role and I know she will be a fantastic support to both our team and the people we care for.

With the temperatures rising, please remember to stay hydrated throughout your shift and take care of yourselves while you’re busy looking after others.

💧 We have plenty of ice available in the office, along with ice creams and ice lollies to help keep you cool. Feel free to pop in and help yourselves whenever you’re passing by!

Please remember to carry a water bottle with you and take regular drinks throughout the day.
