Friday was full of fun, fabulous creativity and some seriously fierce, freaky dinosaurs!

We had Father’s Day cards, a few pom poms thrown around (literally!) and lots of imagination as everyone got busy creating their very own dinosaur masterpieces.

Today we welcomed Sam’s cousin Mark for the day and everyone made him feel right at home. We think Mark may have made some new friends for life! Everyone was inspired to create some amazing dinosaurs, and the creativity was brilliant to see. Kim even made a video … head over to our page to watch it (it’s also our story of the day).

We also had great fun during our music sessions where Josh’s energy once again rivals Sam’s! We’re not sure who brings the most enthusiasm, but Josh definitely wins when it comes to air guitar.

Fridays are now completely full, but we do have a couple of spaces left on Wednesday afternoons.

What a Wonderful Wednesday with the Serenity Gang!
Although things were a little quieter than usual today due to a group holiday, we made the most of it and packed the afternoon with fun, laughter, and plenty of achievements.
We spent the morning putting the finishing touches on some long-standing projects before diving into an afternoon filled with jigsaw puzzles, games, dancing, singing, and lots of smiles. The energy was incredible, and it’s amazing to see the confidence and friendships that continue to grow each week.
Keep an eye on our page for a video of our signing and singing session, where everyone has been working hard to learn “Reach” by Lee’s favourite band, S Club 7. The progress has been fantastic, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
You’ll also want to check out the video of the legendary dance battle between Josh and Sam. While Sam gave it her all, we’re fairly certain Josh took the crown this time!
If you or someone you know would enjoy making new friends, building confidence, learning new skills, and having plenty of fun along the way, we’d love to hear from you. We offer free taster sessions, giving people the chance to come along, meet the group, and see what we’re all about with no obligation.
We’re also looking for caring, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 1pm–4pm. Whether you can spare a little time or are looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community, we’d love to welcome you.

Fantastic Friday at Serenity!

What a week of fun, creativity, and plenty of ice cream inspiration!

Everyone had such a great time designing their lollies and ice creams on Wednesday that we just had to make more. At this rate, we think an ice cream van needs to make a special trip to Serenity so we can put all these delicious ideas to the test.

We also had a wonderful surprise from one of our fantastic support staff members, who has written a song especially for us. We can’t wait to share it with you all very soon, so watch this space.

Music, dancing, signing, and singing have filled our days with joy, and the beautiful sunshine has certainly put an extra spring in everyone’s step.

A special mention goes to Brian, who has completed his pirate adventure diorama. Isn’t it amazing? His creativity and attention to detail have impressed us all, and we’re so proud of what he has achieved.
Also we celebrated Karen’s birthday… she’s off on her Hols too.
