What does yours look like? Mine truly honors my intuition. I ask myself how I feel: if I’m jumbled in my mind, I write; if I’m anxious, I breathe and take a moment to reset my breath with intention. If I’m agitated or frustrated, I get up and move. If I find myself attached to other people’s thoughts and feelings, I shake out my arms and regulate my nervous system that way. If I ask myself what I need but do not honor it, I become dysregulated.
If I’m tired and push myself through a gym session beyond my limits, I end up exhausted. However, if I set an intention to move in order to balance certain emotions or feelings, to see clearly and breathe into that, I can achieve my equilibrium.
Are you flexible in your flow, or rigid in your beliefs about what you think you should be doing? Gaining perspective on this is truly interesting, right?
Paths are not rigid; they change direction to suit the flow of the current.
