✨ I learned a very valuable lesson this weekend...
On Saturday I spent 9 hours doing a complete transformation:
💫 100+ foils
💫 Olaplex treatment
💫 Pre-tone & tone
💫 Cut & blow-dry
💫 120 micro-ring extensions fitted, cut & styled
And I made... £0.00 🙈😂
Now, this was completely my own doing. A friend had helped me out during a couple of college assignments, so I wanted to return the favour.
But what I forgot is that there's a difference between being kind and undervaluing yourself.
You know the saying "You can't pour from an empty cup"?
Well, I picked up the empty cup, shook out the last few drops, worked for 9 hours and then wondered why my fibromyalgia flared afterwards. 🤣
Life has a funny way of humbling you!
And you'd think that after years of training, qualifications, and the certificates I hold, I would have stopped undervaluing myself by now... but apparently not! 😂
So here's my lesson:
✨ Your time has value.
✨ Your skills have value.
✨ Your experience has value.
Lesson learned. No more undervaluing myself. 💕✨
