💗🌟 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: Meet Brian, one of our fantastic Braveheart Walk Leaders! 🌟💗

🚶‍♂️ At Braveheart, our volunteers make a real difference in their communities. This week, we’re shining a spotlight on Brian and finding out what makes volunteering so rewarding!

💬 We asked Brian: What do you enjoy most about volunteering, and what's been your most rewarding experience with Braveheart?

❤️ Brian told us:

“It's a fantastic experience, because you meet so many different people, hear so many stories about what they've done, where they've been and learnt about the history of the area.”

💬 We also asked Brian: What advice would you give to someone thinking about becoming a Walk Leader?

🌟 Brian said:

“I think you learn a lot about your area from the people you walk with. You learn about first aid, you learn about the problems with people with dementia, which helps with your neighbours as well as other folks. So it's a great experience.”

❤️ Brian's words show that volunteering is about so much more than walking. It's an opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, meet wonderful people and make a real difference in your community.

🚨 WE'RE LOOKING FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS!

💗 Could you be our next Braveheart Walk Leader?

🙌 Please share this post and help us find our next volunteer!

❤️ Celebrating our amazing Braveheart volunteers! ❤️

On 16th September, we had a fantastic Volunteer Lunch at Falkirk Stadium to celebrate and thank all the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy and support to The Braveheart Association.

Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do — from leading our health walks and welcoming new walkers, to supporting our communities and helping people stay active and connected. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

It was a great afternoon of good food, great company and plenty of laughs, and a wonderful opportunity to recognise everything our volunteers contribute throughout the year. 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to every one of our volunteers. We couldn't do what we do without you! ❤️
