Don't we scrub up well! Thanks to CVS Falkirk for forwarding a photo of two of our volunteer nominees Music Director Mariot Dallas and Committee Chair Janet Crawford who were able to attend the volunteering awards with our staff team, Music Director Kim Edgar and Admin & Support Worker Lorraine Mackenzie - it was a lovely event, celebrating not only our volunteers but also the huge impact of volunteers across the whole district.

This we'd like to thank our amazing team of volunteers - Mariot Dallas, Linda McFarlane and Susan Ross - for all that they have done for us over the past year, our voluntary committee, headed up by chair Janet Crawford and our choir members who volunteer their help, also. Janet, Linda and Mariot were nominated for CVS Falkirk awards - Volunteer Of The Year, Strength In Service and Lifetime Achievement Awards, and we appreciate the help from CVS Falkirk in celebrating them, and all of our volunteers for the huge impact they've had on our community and the huge social and mental health benefits the choir has brought to people over the past ten years - we couldn't have done it without them!

Weโ€™re delighted that our application to the Communities and Fund was successful! This means we can continue to provide the proven mental health benefits of group singing for our members and the local community, with funding to support project management, accessible transport through Order of Malta Dial a Journey Trust for those who need it, while undertaking training, paying the composers of the music that we sing, and making sure we keep everyone safe! Huge thanks to CVS Falkirk :) Come celebrate the good news and 10 years of the choir with us this Monday, 11th May, when we sing at from 12.30 - 1.15 pm! New members welcome - and the next terms starts on Wed 20th May, so if you'd like to join us, email [email protected] or text us on 07895 538 057.
