If your weekly food shop looks exactly the same every week... this post is for you 🛒
Many of us eat on autopilot.
The same meals
The same snacks
The same drinks
But a healthy diet isn’t just about avoiding certain foods—it’s about variety.
The more variety we introduce, the more nutrients, flavours and beneficial plant compounds we can enjoy.
One of my favourite parts of being a Nutritional Therapist is discovering new products, creating recipes and helping clients find healthy foods that fit their lifestyle.

Think of food like travel. The more you explore, the more you discover.
Your body and your taste buds deserve more than the same old routine 🗺️🍓🥑

Your body doesn’t need a beige diet.
It needs colour
It needs variety
It needs nourishment
Every colour in nature brings different nutrients that support your energy, gut health, hormones, immunity and overall wellbeing.

The question is...
🌈 How colourful was your plate today?

Many of the health topics I write about for my clients can be found on my website blog: www.synergynutrition.co.uk

June is a reminder that nature works in seasons.
🌅 Sunrises arrive a little earlier
🌅 Evenings stretch a little longer
🌴 Growth happens quietly beneath the surface before we ever see it

Our health is often the same. Energy isn’t rebuilt overnight.
Hormones don’t rebalance in a week and a resilient body is created through small daily habits that compound over time.

This month, focus less on doing more and more on restoring yourself.
Nourish your body.
Sleep deeply.
Get outside.
Slow down when needed.
Because the goal isn’t simply to get through the day.
It’s to have the energy to enjoy it.
Happy June ☀️💛

Summer should feel energising ☀️
Longer days, lighter evenings, more time outdoors, holidays, movement, socialising and making memories with loved ones…
But when your energy is low, even everyday life can feel exhausting. Low energy doesn’t just affect the body, it impacts mood, motivation, patience, sleep, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
Modern life constantly pulls us in different directions. Many of us are juggling work, family life, stress, poor sleep, hormonal changes, and busy schedules. And if you’re a parent with young children, you’re often “on alert” from morning until night with very little time to properly recharge.

What’s often forgotten is that nutritional therapy can play a powerful role in restoring energy naturally. Energy isn’t simply about caffeine or sugar to “get through the day.” While coffee and sugary snacks may provide a temporary boost, they can also contribute to a cycle of crashes, cravings, poor sleep, and burnout. As a Nutritional Therapist, I’m passionate about helping people restore their energy naturally by exploring the root causes. Sometimes fatigue may be linked to:
🌿 Gut health
🌿 Poor sleep
🌿 Hormonal imbalances
🌿 Stress
🌿 Nutrient deficiencies
🌿 Blood sugar imbalances
When your body is properly supported, you can begin to feel like yourself again — calmer, clearer, stronger and full of life.
Imagine having the energy to:
☀️ Exercise and feel fitter
☀️ Enjoy long summer evenings
☀️ Be more present with your family
☀️ Feel more positive and motivated
You deserve to feel amazing — not just “get through the day.” If you’re struggling with low energy, I’d love to help 💛

So many are exhausted by the constant cycle of GP appointments, hospital visits, prescription costs, parking fees, waiting lists, and never quite getting real answers.
Your health shouldn’t feel like a full-time job.

This is why I’m passionate about helping clients support their health naturally through personalised nutrition and lifestyle changes — reducing overwhelm, improving wellbeing, and helping people feel more in control of their bodies again.
Because your energy should go into living your life — not constantly worrying about your health.

Isn’t height and growth miraculous. Looking around and seeing variations. God has certainly created all creatures great and small. This leads me to ponder is height primarily set in our DNA 🧬 or is there any scope to change it... Giving those who are of a shorter stature hope.

The research shows that genes 🧬 set the blueprint, but nutrition, health and environment determine whether that potential is reached. Protein, zinc, calcium, vitamin D and overall energy intake all play a key role during childhood and adolescence.

Curious about what really influences height and why average height has increased over the last 150 years?

Politicians may shape policies, but farmers sustain humanity.
No society can thrive without the people who grow, harvest, and feed the world. Agriculture matters — all begins with the soil and hands that grow our food 🌱🌾🐮
Respect to every farmer, everywhere 💚🤍

Did those 3 Oreos really make me p*e more? Yes — and here’s why.
A quick hit of sugar, especially without fibre or protein spikes blood glucose just enough to trigger your kidneys to flush out the excess and with it, water.
➡️ More sugar in 🟰more p*eing out.
It’s called osmotic diuresis, and it’s real. Not just a “me” thing — it’s physiology. Full Blog ⤵️
