Starting from the 1st June 2026, every daily shop worth £25+ with us (across the whole Store, including Deli) will automatically entitle you to a raffle ticket in our monthly voucher prize draw! 😲

Every time you visit us and spend £25 or more in a day, you will receive a raffle ticket. Once the month is up, tickets will be drawn and you could win one of two vouchers to spend in-store:
🥇 £75 voucher
🥈 £50 voucher

All you have to do is hold onto your ticket(s), give us a contact name & number/email, and keep your fingers crossed.. 🤞

Eligibility Specifics:

Although we're now in what's known as 'the hungry gap' - the period between the finishing of winter crops, and when the new season's plantings are ready to harvest - there are still lots of varieties entering the scene this time of year!

The heroes of May in UK farming are: globe artichoke, asparagus, aubergine, beetroot, lettuce, rhubarb, spring greens, spring onion, perpetual spinach, sugarsnap pea, radish and strawberry ✨

Over the coming weeks you'll see these varieties flourishing in our fresh produce section at the front of the Store - many from local Cornish farms, and all organic certified by the for maximum benefits for health and the planet 🌱

With many classic varieties as well as some more unusual types, it's a great time to start planting! Maybe you're looking to add some new crops to your organic allotment, or you're new to this gardening malarkey - even if all you have is a few containers, why not give some easy-growers a go like tomatoes, peas and beans? 🫛🍅

All of us know how precious natural resources are, and that everything comes at a cost. But how can sharing, repurposing & recycling locally help to reduce that monetary and environmental cost, and build more resilience?

Here are just some of the ways in which we as a small business try to contribute to a circular economy, where 'waste' is reinvested & reinvented, and materials are saved & repurposed 🙌
