Reflexology and the Vagus nerve curing Digestion problems Anxiety and much more…..
The Vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the body it is responsible for regulating amongst others things our digestive and nervous systems
Recent evidence shows that electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve can help with all sorts of conditions including digestive, anxiety and immune system disorders to such an extent that an electrical implant, a bit like a pacemaker, is being inserted near the collarbone in current in trials.
Why is this good news for Reflexology clients? Reflexology does exactly this by using specific techniques applied to certain reflexes which untangle nerve fibre adhesions. These adhesions which can be felt by the therapist were thought to be crystals or metabolic waste products. Research conducted in Barcelona with over 70,000 clinical studies has shown that it is an entanglement of excess nervous tissue which has developed in response to and as an indicator of an unhealthy organ. Specific reflexology techniques applied to congested reflexes can untangle the nerve fibre adhesion and break the biochemical link between them
My treatments with clients with digestive disorders and anxiety related conditions report amazing results. One client had suffered 7 years of digestive problems and extreme premenstrual nausea, after a short course of treatments she reported she had her least troubled period in years no nausea and no need to take medication which she had been dependent upon previously
Feedback from clients is that digestive and any stress related condition has excellent results using reflexology
