The awe and the mundane.
The love and the grief.
Giving birth felt like a kind of unravelling and then a rebuilding.

Two things can be true at the same time and learning to hold them both is the trick

Yes we are hearing of more and more celebrities encapsulating their placenta but I don’t think mums are doing it because of a trend. (Placentophagy has been around for centuries; it’s the capsules which are new)

It’s mums who research their options and want to put themselves in the best position possible in those first few weeks. Mums who understand that to take care of someone else, you also have to take care of yourself ♥️

Sweetcheeks, my clients are the real VIPs ✨♥️ Portals to new life and all that jazz. I’m saying it flippantly but I obviously mean it. Everyone deserves support however that looks.
