✈️ OFFICIALLY OUT OF OFFICE… AND OUT OF THE COUNTRY 😄
Right my lovely clients… it’s happened…
I have left the country 🇬🇧➡️🌴
The clinic is now CLOSED until 12th May while I take a very long overdue, much-needed break (first time in nearly 40 years I’ve taken more than a week… so we’re making the most of it!).
Now… about contacting me 👀

📵 My phone is on holiday mode (aka silent and living its best life)

📧 Emails are being politely ignored until 12th May

☎️ Calls will not be answered… unless you’ve suddenly become my travel agent with a cocktail recommendation

Basically… if it’s work-related, it’s been left at the airport ✈️

But don’t panic — you’ve got this:
✨ Book, reschedule or cancel your appointments online
✨ Check the FAQ page & website pop-up for answers
✨ Order your skincare via the website or your Alumier account
So there’s really no need to message me 👀
And just gently… please don’t send “I know your on holiday but… “ or can you move my appointment” messages — you can do it yourself 🙌
Unless it’s a real emergency (and no, a breakout before brunch doesn’t count 😅), it can wait until I’m back.
I’m off to relax, recharge, and return slightly less grumpy… hopefully.

A moment that made my day ☀️
One client came back from Jamaica and said:
“I need more sunscreen… my daughter’s been using mine every day.”
Her daughter is 13.
THIRTEEN.
And already understands SPF is non-negotiable.
That honestly made me so happy.
Habits like that = future skin health protected.
(And yes… I do love a good SPF sale 😏)

Oh I am loving this weather… blue skies, sunshine… but still that little chill in the air 🌤️

Now don’t let that fool you 👀
Just because it feels a little chilly still doesn’t mean those rays aren’t hard at work. This photo was taken yesterday at 5pm… and just look at those sun rays coming through!
Those sneaky rays are still penetrating deep into the skin, quietly breaking down collagen, encouraging fine lines, and stirring up pigmentation. Yes… even in March 😅
I’ll be honest… I did rush home, threw myself into the hammock, and soaked up a little vitamin D (because let’s face it, we are all desperately in need of it after winter!). Me and the dogs were absolutely loving it 🐶💛
Just 10–15 minutes of pure chill… perfection.
But — and it’s a big BUT — I did it safely.
If you’ve read my previous blogs, you’ll know I talk about “getting weathered” the right way… a short, controlled dose of sunshine early morning or later in the day to support vitamin D, without overexposing the skin.
SPF is still your best friend, even when it feels chilly. Always protect, especially if you’re out longer than those short bursts.
And can we just ignore the background of my cabin please 🙈
Clearly I was not prepared for this sudden burst of sunshine… winter clean-up pending!
Happy skin, happy mood, blue skies… just don’t forget your SPF 💙
