As summer winds down and we slowly move into a new season, it feels like a good moment to pause and reflect.
Summer often brings its own relationship with the body — how we feel in it, how visible we feel, how comfortable (or not) we are in our own skin.
Autumn invites something different. As the days draw in and we naturally slow down, it’s a gentle invitation to turn inwards — to notice how we’re really feeling in our bodies, away from the visibility and pace of summer. It can be a quieter, more reflective time to reconnect with ourselves.
In psychos*xual therapy, this relationship with the body is central. Our sense of ease, confidence, and connection with ourselves physically shapes so much of our intimacy, desire, and wellbeing.
There are lots of ways we can work together, depending on what feels most useful for you right now:
•Body confidence & self-image — exploring how you relate to your body and building a kinder, more comfortable relationship with it.
•Intimacy & connection — working through blocks to closeness, whether with a partner or within yourself.
•Desire & arousal — understanding changes or difficulties in desire, and what might be underneath them.
•Anxiety around s*x or performance — building confidence and reducing pressure.
•Communication — finding language to talk about needs, boundaries, and desires, with a partner or in general.
•Past experiences — processing how earlier experiences (relationships, trauma, upbringing, cultural messaging) shape your relationship with your body and s*xuality today.
As the seasons shift, it can be a natural time to check in with yourself and consider what support might help you move forward.
I return to sessions in two weeks, so if any of this resonates with you or you have been considering connecting for a while to ask any questions, please get in touch. I still have some availability for mid week sessions. This work is rooted in psychology, weaves within spiritual & elemental wisdom and is embodied through fully landing in your body, mind and spirit.
