Following on from our last post about why we slouch, let’s talk about solutions! 🚀

✨ If your desk setup feels more like a torture device than a workspace, it’s time for a change. 🛠️💆‍♂️

How to beat the "Desk Ache": ⬇️
✅ Practice Good Posture: Be mindful of that "chin poke"! 🙇🏼‍♀️➡️👩🏼‍💼
✅ Audit Your Station: A few small tweaks make a massive difference. 🖥️⌨️
✅ Stand Up: If you can, try a standing desk to change your loading. 🧍🏼‍♂️
✅ Keep Moving: Don't be a statue! Be active throughout the day. 🤸🏼‍♀️
✅ Stretch Often: Give those tight muscles a "reset" break. 🙆🏼

The "Golden Rules" for a Happy Desk: 📐✨
1️⃣ Support your spine: Adjust your chair so the natural curve of your back is supported. 🪑
2️⃣ Eye level is key: Your monitor should be directly in line with your eyes—no looking down! 👁️↕️
3️ Relax those arms: Use your armrests and keep your keyboard/mouse at a level where you aren't reaching or straining. ⌨️🖱️

Be honest—how many of these can you tick off? 🧐
Spend hours sitting at a desk? ✔️

Have an annoying neck ni**le that won't quit? ✔️

What’s happening at your desk? 🖱️
When we sit stationary for too long, we often fall into the "slouch & poke" 🙇🏼‍♀️—shoulders rounded and chin poking toward the screen. This position:
💥 Compresses the joints in your neck.
💥 Overloads the muscles at the back of your head.
💥 Makes your body very, very unhappy. 😫

Why do we slouch? 🤔
